In my case I'm leaning more towards some missing info we didn't get to see between the two (the first victim and him) yet.
He had the same ring she did, so my guess is he knew she was in a dangerous situation regardless of the murders

I kind of forgot about it, but I'm glad there's an explanation to the ML living right next to Yoon Young's family
