I'm still not getting why everyone likes this so much. This episode was much more interesting than the previous…
I get your points. I root for Shin Woo because he seems genuine in regards to his personality. I'm not saying Da On isn't genuine, but he would unintentionally make Tae doubt his feelings. Especially after their talk in the most recent episode. Tae may start to question if Da On does like him in that way or is he just saying that he likes him so Tae's feelings won't get hurt. I don't know if that will happen though. We're only 3 episodes in. I like how Tae was a loner by choice and it wasn't because he was shy. He usually speaks his mind, which is what I like about him. We have a lot more episodes to go so I also want them to show more of his personality, like his interests. We know he doesn't eat beans lol. Who knows, I may end up losing interest in this drama. I haven't liked every one of the Korean BL dramas that I've watched. Some are boring or the actors don't have good chemistry. I feel that the actors in this drama have good chemistry though and it hasn't been boring so far.
I'm thinking that the whole point of this show is that the director wants to basically say that this is what BL…
You're right. That seems to be the pattern so far so I'm hoping the pattern continues. I'm enjoying this show because it hasn't had the same storyline as a lot of other BLs have. Also as you pointed out the usual problematic tropes haven't been in this series which makes it more enjoyable.
Episode 4 was so good. I was hoping that Nubsib wouldn't take advantage of Gene when Gene was drunk. I'm so happy that he didn't. I was nervous that the writer would take the usual route of having them kiss or whatever when one of them is drunk. I also felt so bad for Gene in this episode. The dinner scene between him and his college friends was so awkward after they started enquiring about if he was gay or not. I was uncomfortable for him. If he doesn't want to tell you his business, just drop it. I am a little worried about episode 5. I'm hoping that they don't do what I'm predicting that they'll do. I'm just guessing what Gene will do just from what I've seen of his character so far. Who knows? Maybe the writer will surprise me.
I'm loving this series, so far. It has been a while since I've watched a drama where I haven't skipped over any parts while watching it. I am shocked with the amount of flirting in it. I haven't seen this much obvious flirting between two men in a Chinese drama ever. This isn't subtle flirting. This is like in your face flirting. I was surprised. I love their chemistry and the action scenes are great. Wen Ke Xing has a duality that I love. It kind of terrifies me. I can't wait for more episodes!
Does anyone know if there is a sequel to the novel? The author left me hanging on a major plot point. I hope that they resolve everything in the drama because my curiosity driving me insane!
I completely forgot that Thailand was doing their version of Hana Yori Dango until I saw the trailer on GMMtv's YouTube channel. I've seen all of the versions of this story and I never get tired of it. It's interesting to see different adaptations of the same thing. I'm even more excited after seeing that Bright was playing the male lead. I'm excited to see how he portrays this character. I loved him in the trailer so I'm sure that he won't disappoint.
I'm looking forward to this as well. I'm happy that we get the whole story too. I was confused at first when the…
I noticed that in the 4 episodes we got. Especially when he kissed his ex and his reason for it. He had me shaking my head a lot during those episodes.
After reading the novel, if this adaptation closely follows it, I know this comment section will be in shambles.…
I'm looking forward to this as well. I'm happy that we get the whole story too. I was confused at first when the trailer was released for it. Then I put it together after reading the comments on the video that it's going to be Mark and Vee's entire story. I always felt like their story was incomplete because they cut so much and I was constantly confused on how much time had passed in between events.
I'm going to give this novel another shot. I will probably skip over the beginning part again because I can't get through it. It's too much for me. I know that I should not like Vee for what he does to Mark during this entire story, but they have such great chemistry. It's hard not to root for Mark and Vee, no matter how much Vee upsets me.
I have so many questions after watching the first four episodes. As usual, I have fallen for the bad guy. I feel like the most disturbing part in this series so far is what the fishermen did. I wanted to throw up at that part even though they didn't show anything. Loving this drama so far.
I wish I had someone to watch my foreign dramas with. My mom jokingly says I'm not her daughter because all I watch are foreign dramas. My mom will not watch foreign dramas because she likes to multitask while she's watching TV so she would actually have to pay attention to watch a foreign show. She also just gets annoyed with me when I tell her about the dramas I'm watching.
Is this a time travel drama? I only ask because the clip I saw from episode 1 made it seem like she went back in time or just something weird happened.
I've only seen 2 of these dramas, but I do agree that he is amazing! He was in All Out of Love and I didn't recognize him since I'm so used to him with long hair. Also his character in that one is not a good guy so that threw me off too.
I gave in and watched the first episode raw. Even though I couldn't understand what they were saying, I cried. It's only episode 1! I'm probably just too sensitive, but I've read some of the novel and this show is gonna make me into an emotional wreck.
I am so excited for this series. I have watched the original and loved it so I know that they have recast everyone. I follow the twitter account for this series and when they posted pictures and some videos during production it got me even more excited. I'm also happy that they cast actors that are unknown. I feel like that was a wise move and also it will be a nice surprise to see how the actors portray these awesome characters.
