Title Our Blooming Youth Spoiler
Loving this drama. I was happy when I saw that Korea adapted this novel because I was looking forward to China's release, but they shelved it. I may love it, but I am yelling at the characters after this current episode.
So the prince trusts her and he told her that he has trusted her for a long time now. I get that he is paranoid over the whole ghost letter thing, but I'm just annoyed that he's all "did she lie to me?" after her friend supposedly killed himself. We all know that he did not kill himself. Especially after seeing his hair. It's the same as the shaman's hair! Obviously, he was murdered. I don't know if the prince was told that detail yet, but still, his guard probably knew. The sergeant is just as bad. He is investigating the shaman and knows from testimonies that she mysteriously got white hair. They're also just basing the lover theory off of a suicide note. That is not solid proof! Sorry, but I had to get that off of my chest.

Btw, who is your favourite in Heaven Official's Blessing other than the main couple???
They are all well written. I'm always surprised when something new is revealed about a character that I thought I knew.

You're right regarding the title. Mo Ran is an intense character. While I'm reading it, I'm thinking in my head how much stuff they had to change or cut to get this to pass censorship. I also like how it's not all focusing on Mo Ran's thoughts. It will have parts where you know what Chu Wanning is thinking. I'm not done with the book yet.

It would have to be Lord Wind Master. He doesn't care what anyone, including his brother, thinks in regards to his actions and how he looks. He decided to be friends with Xie Lian even though Xie Lian is not well liked or has been getting to be good friends with Hua Cheng. I got book five for Christmas and I'll start it when I'm done with this one.

Wait, so I don't understand...so, did you or did you not know this novel prior?
I knew there was a novel, but I couldn't remember the name of the novel or if the name of the novel was different from the drama. I just saw the novel on Amazon and thought that it sounded good. Then the name Mo Ran sounded so familiar and this drama popped into my head. I haven't gotten far yet. I'm only a little over 150 pages in. This is also only volume 1. It's pretty thick for volume 1.

This is how you know I haven't been here in forever. I've been reading the "Heaven Official's Blessing" and "Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation" books so Amazon recommends similar books to me. Well, a couple weeks ago, it recommended The Husky and His White Cat Shizun and I'm all "That sounds like a good book. I should get it." I'm probably fifty pages in and I'm thinking "Where have I heard the name Mo Ran before?" I suspect it's this drama. I stop and come on this site and look for one of the actors from here because I'm drawing a blank on the name. I read the description and see the title of the book it's based off of. I slap myself because, of course, they're gonna translate this book into English. Sorry that this wasn't about the drama, but I just felt so dumb today.

Title Unexpected Falling Spoiler
I feel that the "weapon of choice" for FL is different. She tried the passive aggressive type (she almost lost…
I agree. It doesn't matter how much evidence she puts in front of them, they will always believe that their son did no wrong and she "bled him dry". FL has more important things to worry about than in laws that don't view her as family and just go to her for money that she doesn't have.

Yes! I was disappointed in The Controllers bc it fell short of the webnovel but I really liked their acting chemistry…
All the episodes of The Controllers are subbed on YouTube if you want to finish it. The episodes are on the YT channel MangoTV Monsoon. I watched it recently and now I have to get my head on straight for this drama since they have a bunch of the
same actors.

How is it so far ?
I like it so far. There's a bit of frustration, for me, in regards to the dynamic between the FL and her in laws. This drama has kept me watching by leaving me with more questions after each episode. I don't normally watch dramas like this, but, so far, this hasn't disappointed me.

It wouldn't have mattered that her lawyer was there because they all think that she had an affair with him. The family would just be thinking that he is only sticking up for her because they were/are lovers. Of course, that's not true. The family will just continue to believe what they want to believe
about her husband and her.

What the heck? Why are there two Gao Juns? Which is the real one. Now I am super confused.
I believe the one that was at the hotel in the elevator is the real one. I only think that because the male lead doesn't seem to want certain people seeing his face. If he was the real one, why would he be avoiding certain people?

This is one of the plot points that is keeping me engrossed in this drama. Who is this guy? Why must he keep his face concealed from certain people? Who does he work for? I don't know if I missed something before, but does Su Wen know who he really is? I ask because she met the real Gao before through her ex, correct? I know that they look very similar, but you can still tell them apart when you're standing in front of them.

Title Unexpected Falling Spoiler
I really think FL character (not the actress, her acting is fine) is TOO naive and passive to the point it looks…
I understand why FL is being so submissive to her in laws, even though they are treating her like garbage. They are her in laws and her elders so she has to be respectful, unfortunately. Technically, the aunt is the ring leader in this whole situation by convincing them that FL has the money and that FL knew all about the loans, etc. FL has enough to deal with in regards to the lawsuit. Her husband's family's behavior towards her is nothing compared to what will the future hold for her in regards to the lawsuit. I also get the feeling that FL's in laws never fully accepted her so, even if she told them everything, with evidence, they would say that she was a liar. Her in laws would never believe that their son could do anything wrong, but someone that they consider an outsider, that's easier to believe. If they fully accepted FL into their family, they would've tried to help in some way. Instead, they decide to rent out their home to pay off their mortgage and force their way into her home because one third of FL's home is theirs. I did love that FL did say to them well if you see it that way then one third of the debt he left me is yours too. I just really want FL to be completely done with her husband's family.

I realize that what people say about this series is correct that not a lot, technically, has happened during the Payu and Rain storyline. I can see that, but sometimes, I just need a series like this. I watch a lot of different series and some are heavy and I like this drama because it makes me smile and it's an easy watch.
I am super excited for the Sky and Prapai storyline! Sky is so adorable and I just loved him in these first seven episodes. I've been on pins and needles for this storyline, even though I loved watching Rain and Payu. I loved how they hinted at the Sky and Prapai storyline throughout these episodes, with Prapai trying to find out more info about Sky, like his name and number. Thursday needs to get here now!

Title Alchemy of Souls Spoiler
I really like the crown prince's character, I'm thinking he's really fooling Jin Mu. He's playing along because…
I agree with you. When I was watching that scene, I just got this feeling that the Crown Prince was acting how Jin Mu expected him to. Jin Mu is dangerous and no one knows what his current plan is. If the Crown Prince pretends to be a selfish and greedy monarch, like Jin Mu expects, then the Crown Prince will be able to act as a spy of sorts and find out what Jin Mu is planning.

Naksu does hear the bells, but I don't see how controlling her, while she's in that body, helps him. She doesn't have any powers, unless he has her body stowed away somewhere. I also don't see how the bells would effect her now because of whose body she's in. That whole part of the storyline confuses me since Mudeok's soul is supposed to be gone or, at least, in Naksu's body, if her body still exists. It just seems like her soul is still in there with Naksu's soul, but Naksu is in control, for the most part.

I hope that Naksu is faking it tomorrow. I have a feeling she's going to run away though because, even though there is a part two coming, I think Naksu will get found out by everyone. Fingers crossed that the cliffhanger won't be too bad. Who am I kidding? It's going to be an excruciating cliffhanger.

On Love Like the Galaxy: Part 2 Aug 18, 2022
I thought that I wouldn't be crying until tomorrow's episodes, but I was wrong. I was excited to see Lou Ben be brought to justice with whatever evidence CSS and LBY found, but then they showed Lou Ben's wife. When she showed the signs of being pregnant my first thought was "Oh no! Tell your husband now!" It was harder when he told her that she could get remarried. Not anymore. Kind of hard to get remarried back then when you have a child, unless you remarry within the same family, like what the CP's first love did. That was different a completely different situation though. Anyway, I had a feeling that Lou Ben was gonna commit suicide, in the end. I don't know if he would've changed his mind if he knew that his wife was pregnant or if he would've made the same decision. That whole thing just made me cry and the goodbye scene made me teary eyed as well. I know that everyone is hurting right now because Lou Ben did commit a crime, but members of the Lou family, in their grief, are blaming LBY and CSS for Lou Ben's suicide. I feel bad for everyone involved in this whole mess. I felt like no one really won in this whole situation. I'm glad that CSS got her dad back and that her family is out of prison, but I still feel that there were no winners in this thing. On a side note, I don't think Lou Ben's wife is really dead. Provide me with a body and I will believe that she is dead.
I feel so bad for LBY. It's obvious after CSS's conversation with Cui You that LBY is not LBY. I had my suspicions, especially when his "mom" offered him the almond cakes and he was hesitant to eat them. I was wondering if he had an allergy and Cui You confirmed it. I laughed when the chicken versus mandarin duck wings debate came up again. LBY and CSS are so sensitive about that topic. I'll say it again, as long as that armor exists, that debate will never end.
I wasn't expecting to see Wang Ling again. I'm also really bad with names because I didn't realized that her husband was Peng Kun. When she came into CSS's bedroom, I was confused at first, but then it clicked. Unfortunately, I don't pay attention to names unless that character is on screen frequently. I agreed with Wang Ling that CSS should do something about LBY taking her husband away to torture him somewhere else. I'm also happy that Wang Ling is accepting of the fact that her
husband did commit treason and not just in denial over the whole thing. I understand why LBY did it, but he's gonna get in trouble if he's not careful. I was afraid he was going to kill Peng Kun. Thankfully, he didn't.
I'm ready for the upcoming episodes. I've prepped myself for the tears and I have my box of tissues at the ready. Do all of you have your box of tissues at the ready? I also like to hug a pillow when there is an emotional part in a drama I'm watching so that is at the ready too.

On Love Like the Galaxy: Part 2 Aug 17, 2022
Episodes 43 and 44 were so good! I loved the conversation between Consort Yue and the Empress. It needed to happen for everyone. We've seen in the last few episodes how the Empress views herself in the eyes of the Emperor compared to Consort Yue. I loved that Consort Yue reassures her that she doesn't blame the Empress for marrying the Emperor. In Consort Yue fashion, she hit the Emperor after he told her that he was going to marry someone else. Consort Yue also reassured her that the Emperor does care about the Empress and that the Empress should view herself as his wife and not his subject because she is his wife. I love Consort Yue. I wish more dramas had a consort and Empress dynamic like this drama.
I was kind of surprised that LBY still had the wings on. I know that he loves CSS, but she told him that he didn't have to wear them. He just needed to wear the under armor she made him. I guess I learned that if you call those wings chicken wings, you'll die. I think they look awesome, no matter what type of wings. When that guy said they were chicken wings, I knew he was in trouble. He, basically, just insulted CSS's gift for LBY. The chicken wing versus mandarin duck wing debate will be going on as long as that armor survives. The fight scene was awesome! I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. I knew that LBY was wearing the under armor CSS made for him so I wasn't worried when it looked he was going to get stabbed. I'm just glad that they succeeded at their main mission.
Even if I didn't watch the trailers last week, I would suspect Lou Ben. The way the guy acts is just slimy and arrogant. It's like he's saying he knows LBY and CSS know he's behind everything, but he's confident that they can't obtain any evidence. Can we get General Wan in there to break his arm? I can't wait for LBY to get the evidence and for CSS to find her father.
Speaking of finding her father, for once, Fei's big mouth has been useful. Usually, he doesn't know how to read a room and he says something that doesn't help. Fei helped this time by telling CSS everything that LBY did in order to get to her. Even though Fei got a punishment for it, it was worth it. CSS needed to know that LBY did a lot to get to her in order to help her. If she went off to try to find her dad on her own and got killed or hurt, all of LBY's effort would be for nothing. So, thank you, Fei!
I can't wait for tomorrow's episodes. I'm excited to see what evidence LBY is able to provide against Lou Ben. We all know that LBY wouldn't make an accusation unless he had solid evidence. I'm also just waiting for the trailers for next week too. I'm so impatient, but at the same time, I want a couple more episodes. Maybe 58 instead of 56 episodes?

On Love Like the Galaxy: Part 2 Aug 11, 2022
I have to talk about the trailers for next week. Mainly, about Lou Ben. The man is clearly overestimating himself. He thinks that he can get away with what he's done, but he can't. He's so cocky in the trailer when he asks if LBY has solid evidence. LBY wouldn't make a claim in front of everyone unless he had solid evidence. LBY spent so much time looking for solid evidence to use against Marquis Yue because he knew that it wouldn't work if he went and made an accusation. LBY is not stupid. I'm happy to see that they're going to be showing the intuitiveness of CSS in regards to how LBY is leading up to episode 48. From the trailers, it looks like they're gonna show that she can feel something is off about LBY leading up to the day. I really hope that they just do the killing in episode 48 and don't leave us hanging right before the killing and then we'll have to wait until episode 49. I'm just worried that it will feel rushed in regards to the reconciliation storyline. I'm just now going to go wait, impatiently, for Tuesday to come.
