On Love Like the Galaxy: Part 2 Aug 1, 2022
I have a couple of questions. After the most recent episode, I'm still confused on how long Consort Yue and the Emperor have known each other? The whole story that she told at the end of the episode just confused me because she mentions her sister. So if someone could explain this to me, that would be helpful. I'm also confused in regards to how it works when a princess gets married, only because it seems like, even though the third princess is married, she still lives in the palace. Wasn't it custom that you would move into your husband's home with his family after you get married or is it different when you're a princess? I know that she has every right to come to the palace to see her mom, but it just appears like she still lives there.

25&26 i am sorry i just can’t stop laughing on ep 26.. LBY is so hilariousYou need a talent to be a funny guy…
I saw that they're releasing two episodes tomorrow instead of just one so episode 28 would mark the end of part one instead of episode 27 being the end of part one.

Thank you for your interesting comments, it gave me some new thoughts about today episode😍❤️
Same here. Especially when it comes to certain characters. I'll see them one way, initially, but then someone will have their own analysis of that character and it may change my entire perspective of that character. Unless we're talking about the mom. I will never change my perspective of her 😂

Wow, the episodes today went by way too fast.
I loved how in episode 25 we got to see YS's home life is. It's really sad that his mom doesn't seem to care what he does with his life. She doesn't care about what type of woman he'll marry. I mean, it's nice that he has the freedom to choose, but it's like she doesn't care if his future wife could cause harm to him or the family in the long run. I feel bad for HZJ in this episode since she has to get married while mourning. I understand that the marriage has to happen as soon as possible for her and her brother's sake, but that must be hard to not be able to mourn. I'm sure that she is grateful that she doesn't have to wear a red gown though. I wouldn't want to anyway since I'm sure that would bring up memories from my previous wedding day. I'm glad her and CSS had a good talk about the whole thing and I feel assured now that HZJ won't hurt LY. I was angry at all the nosy people in this episode. YS was running his mouth, insulting CSS again, acting like a child. The noble women were insinuating that CSS and LBY had an affair while CSS was engaged to LY. I knew the conversation was headed in that direction, but I was still like, "Don't you dare go there!" I liked how LBY stood up for CSS, but I could tell immediately that she wasn't too happy about the whole situation. It was sweet to me, but I could see from her perspective why she was upset by it.

Episode 26 was even better for me. The conversation in the carriage between LBY and CSS was nice and, I felt, very emotional. CSS told LBY that she feels that her words don't matter compared to his because he's in a more powerful position than hers. She doesn't like that she doesn't have her own power and that she'll always just be using his power because they'll be married. LBY is being patient with her right now and trying to understand her point of view on this particular issue. LBY is also showing that he cares for her by stopping her from eating her flatbread and explaining why he doesn't want her to eat it, instead of just saying she can't eat with no reason. He even says that he would like to hear her reason behind why she wants to eat the flatbread even after hearing his reason behind him not wanting her to eat it. From my understanding of CSS, she doesn't like being forced into doing anything because that's how it's been her entire life. Her aunt did that to her and then her parents came back and her mom started doing that to her, as well. CSS liked being with LY because he didn't try to control her. He did whatever she wanted to do. CSS knows that LBY is not like that and she is very on guard around him and misreads the situation thinking that he's trying to control her like her aunt and her mother. He's not. LBY is willing to explain why he wants her to do something or not do something, whereas her aunt and mom never gave an explanation. Anyway, moving on from that. I, absolutely, love Lord Ruyang. That man is so clever. He is sent to deliver the dowries and potentially break off the engagement, but he doesn't break off the engagement. Instead, he gains some insight from CSS and he reveals that he's not gonna be tricked into breaking off the engagement for her. I love that he gets a kick out of how clever she is. I'm happy that he goes home and decides he really is gonna divorce his wife after one conversation with CSS, proceeds to slap his granddaughter, and gives his granddaughter an ultimatum. Either find another man to marry or become a nun because you are no match for CSS. I was hoping that Lord Ruyang would like CSS and he did. LBY and the meal with the Cheng family was the most awkward meal I have ever watched. I was laughing so much because it was awkward. At least, he was smiling during the meal. Super awkward though.

Next episode is the last for part one and it looks hilarious! I wanna ask LBY if he and his soldiers are moving in. I feel bad for Yang Yang. Poor girl probably has never done any physical activity ever and now she's gotta learn how to handle a sword. At least, we don't have to wait until next week for the next episode. That would be torture.

Just finished Ep20 last night. To be honest, I am quite annoyed with CSS. All up till Ep 20, I love her and understand…
You also have to remember that she's fifteen at this time. She also thought that, for once, her bad luck has turned around. She thought if LY was able to secure a position, they would be able to escape from their families. I doubt that would've happened even if they got married. She does make the mature decision in the end.

This has been mentioned below already about CSS’s mother, but I am utterly speechless. Being a mother myself,…
E24 got me too. I'm not a mom, but I do suffer from self esteem issues stemming from mistakes that my mom made (she's a great mom and she's made up for those mistakes) and also just society in general. My self esteem would be absolutely destroyed if I was CSS. I mean, really? That's the route you take to try to get your daughter out of an engagement? There was no reason for her to put CSS down in front of everyone. I'm also grateful that LBY was there to basically tell her to shut up.

Episode 23 made me laugh the most. LBY made it so obvious that he just wanted CSS to come see him and didn't want her father there. I laughed when her father basically threw her to the wolves when she had to go back to see LBY alone. I am happy that CSS brought up the bridge incident and how the ladies on the bridge were the ones who were trying to get a look at LBY, no her. For once, I was grateful that YS was there so that he could explain why they were alone that day. That girl is so awful and that was a big mistake to go after CSS in front of LBY. I love the emperor and empress so much. I like how they are understanding of how CSS is since no one has taught her the proper etiquette to use in front of royalty. The emperor gives me the vibe of someone that likes people who are honest and don't just always agree with him. I'm not saying he's laid back, but he doesn't seem to worry too much about CSS's mistakes when she meets him and empress at the palace. Unlike her parents who look like they want to die the entire time.

Episode 24 made me hate the mom even more than I already did. I don't care how she and CSS's dad explained it away later, that is no excuse. I would still hate her even if her mom had put her down this hard if had only been LBY, the emperor, the empress, CSS, and her parents, since it most likely, wouldn't have gotten out that CSS's mother basically called her worthless. Her mom decided that, to appease the emperor, she needed to put down her daughter so hard in front of everyone. Now everyone in the capital is gonna know. Thanks, mom. I don't know if CSS was really thinking this, but if she was, I agree with her that I don't think any other men (besides LBY and YS) would want to marry her now because of what her mom did. Also it is her mom's fault for not teaching her basic etiquette, at least. Has she just given up on CSS? I want someone to come slap her please. I loved how LBY told her mom not to interrupt him. I was so happy that he basically finally told her to shut up.

Can't wait for next week, even though I'm nervous since the women and even YS are gonna be ridiculing CSS over the engagement. I'm just looking forward to LBY's response to YS's comment that we saw in the preview for episode 25. Is Tuesday here yet?

I find myself tearing up as well. SS and LY giving up their happiness for the greater good is so noble and adult.…
Well, his master isn't the best role model when it comes to relationships so I shouldn't be shocked by his behavior 😆. The post below this gives a good analysis of YS character.

This is why I'm waiting for him to change. His actions anger me right now, but I can't say that I hate him just because he's being a jerk currently. I will continue to wait for him to change for the better.

I did not expect myself to cry during episode 21, but I did. I thought that I would be relieved with CSS and LY breaking off the engagement, but I ended up crying during that part. YS pissed me off in episode 22 with his whole "I told you so" attitude. Then he accuses her of going after LBY. YS needs to redeem himself soon because he is being so immature right now.

This is a "Slow Burn", but I absolutely love this drama, I just finished episode 18 and I cannot wait for the…
I'm usually not a fan of a slow burn romance, but they are doing a good job with this one so far. Probably because the story itself is riveting so it's keeping me occupied while I wait for the two leads to get together.

i was putting this off until now to avoid live watching.. which episode onwards romance begins? i want to set…
I have only been able to watch the free episodes which is up to episode 11 on youtube. There's not romance at the moment per se. There is a lot of chemistry between the two leads. You'll see why they don't have a lot of the usual romance for a while once you start watching it. Their brief interactions for the first 11 episodes have made me more excited for their actual romance to begin.

I'm loving this so far. I liked the En of Love version, but I didn't like how it jumped around. I couldn't tell how much time had passed in the show, which was annoying. I'm glad they decided to do Love Mechanics as its own series. I liked how we got to see Mark's full reaction after what Vee did to him. My heart broke for Mark during episode one. I like that they make Vee unlikable right now because I do need to hate him after what he did to Mark. I just wanna hug Mark.

The trailer is just making me more impatient. I do like the four episode series that was made, but this looks way better. Mark's reaction to what Vee did to him in this series verses the original series, is more of a realistic reaction to have. He was upset in the original series, but he didn't try to punch him or anything. Anyway, I'm excited!

Title Bad Buddy Spoiler
I will say that I initially thought that Pran's flirting skills were not gonna be as good as Pat's. Then I saw the end of the episode and the preview for next week. I was so wrong about Pran. I can't wait to see how crazy they get with the flirting next week.

everyone on ig is saying they wanted a season 2 with the original cast not a remake, like bruhhh at least wait…
The original doesn't need a season 2. Especially since they wrapped the drama up nicely, but they also did a special episode that was kind of an epilogue. I'm fine with this remake. I like seeing how other countries adapt the same story. It's not gonna be exactly the same as the original, which is what appeals to me.

Title She Was Pretty Spoiler
It took me a minute to realize that this was a remake of She Was Pretty. I'm loving it so far. I will say that She Was Pretty was one of the few dramas in which I wanted the female lead to end up with the second male lead. The second male lead is so awesome. I'm gonna end up with that same attitude again unless they change his personality, which it doesn't look like they have. Also the actor playing the second male lead is one of my favorite actors.
