I agree with you. I was hoping Baek Yi Hyun character would have a better outcome. Mr. Yoon Shi Yoon is an excellent and accomplished actor, I wish him all the best in his career.

It is a very good question. the story seems to let us know that Geum Doo Na and Baek Min Kyoo live happily ever after, also, they are financially stable. Geum Se Na and Yoon Ji Sang continue seeing each other. However, the ending of "Golden Pouch" is an open ended story. The audience are expected to make their own decisions based on what they know about "rich boy" Yoon Joon Sang, or rather Kang Shil Woo, and Baek Min Hee and their situations. Also, the love (match in heaven) between Dr. Han Soek Hoon and Geum Seol Hwa has an open-ended story that lacks a clear-cut ending. I enjoy watching the on-screen chemistry between these two leading male and female protagonists, unrivaled by other K-dramas. I wish MBC would make "Golden Pouch" season II to conclude the story.

Yes, the oldest daughter Geum Doo Na and Baek Min Kyoo love affair, also the youngest daughter Geum Se Na and Yoon Ji Sang fling. However, we could also include rich boy Yoon Joon Sang's attraction to Geum Seol Hwa and his want in getting the kind-heart Seol Hwa. Should we include Baek Min Hee's love for money and power in the rich boy Yoon Joon Sang too and the previous Min Hee's love of medical professional prestige in getting Dr. Han Seok Hoon.

Please remake "Golden Pouch" season II. It is a truly beautiful story.

It is heartwarming to watch “Golden Pouch”. Dr. Han Suk-Hoon and Ms. Geum Seol-Hwa portray pure love, a match made in heaven. The lead actor (Actor Kim Ji Han/Jin Yi Han) and actress (Actress Ryu Hyo Young/Jung Woo Yeon) that portray Dr. Han and Ms. Geum have a wonderful on-screen chemistry that is unrivaled by any other K-drama. We really think they have been in love for centuries in “Golden Pouch”. I truly believe I am watching a true story rather than fictional drama series.

The wisdom and advice from Mr. Geum Jung-do to his adopted son (Dr. Han Seok-hoon) and his three daughters (Geum Doo-na, Geum Seol-hwa, and Geum Se-na) are so meaningful and heartwarming. The phrases that Grandma Yoon uses also remind me of our elders when they describe the most basic rule of good manners.

“Golden Pouch” is truly an unforgettable K-drama series, it is indeed an beautiful story.

It really likes watching a life story where they have crushes on their playmates while they are young, and also crushes on their high school mates while they are growing up. Eventually painful break ups and the intense suffering of loving someone. The actors/actresses are great in showing all emotions. I also appreciate all the Korean cuisines and dishes served on the program. It is so heartwarming.

It really likes watching a life story where they have crushes on their playmates while they are young, and also crushes on their high school mates while they are growing up. I also appreciate all the Korean cuisines and dishes served on the program. It is so heartwarming. The only thing that bothers me is that no one pats the poor dog that lives in the Lee family household. The youngsters like the rabbit, I notice, but not that poor dog.

I am so pleased and impressed with actress Ryu Hyo Young / Jung Woo Yun's performance in "A Good Supper". She has matured as an artist and showed a continuing solid performance. Bravo!

I think some population enjoy daily drama so much. They appear in our living room daily for a year or so, and the leading male/female protagonists become our family like a son/daughter/brother/sister. "Golden Pouch" is a lovely family drama, I still enjoy re-watching this drama here and there.

I do not want to reveal too much, but there are some episodes from 80 to 106 where Dr. Han and Seol Hwa are really together as a man and a woman that are passionately love each other, not as a loving brother to his sister. However, there is a threat from Baek Min Hee that makes Dr. Han to separate from Seol Hwa. It is really a heartbreaking decision. But at the end they will be together again. I wish MBC would make "Golden Pouch" season 2, it is a beautiful story with wonderful cast and director.
