Maybe I am just so burned from my other ‘against all odds’ couples that I am trying to hold on to the little bit of chemistry they did have when they were student/professor LMFAO. I gotta say though, now that Seri is acting cold towards Beomsoo and he’s the one chasing after her, there is a little bit of fire there (i’m delusional.) but yeah, agree 100% there was so much potential of them being a brilliant ‘against all odds’ couple. Yoon Park and Seulki are very attractive people and the casting was great. Just wish everything worked out in a different way as opposed to what we got. 6 eps left, even though many people have clocked out, I hope there will be some good scenes and glimpse of evident passion/chemistry from these two.

That’s where their story is complicated because the writer keeps going in circles 😂😭When he was concernced, she was okay with it, and now when she is concerned, he is okay with it. I don’t think the writer/director wants this show to portray too much passion because beomsoo and seri’s story is already scandalous as it is and not so ‘family friendly’ perhaps the actors also feel uncomfortable about the storyline, idk. I still feel the chemistry but is it the best chemistry in the world? obviously not 😅Beomsoo has a lot of chasing to do now so I hope there is some ‘passion’ lol

I love Seri, but I feel like the writer sabotaged her in a lot of ways, which makes me feel quite sad. I wish she actually went overseas and completed her masters so she has something to her name. She is very capable and was able to keep her self afloat when she ran away from home but she could’ve been a successful business woman if her storyline wasn’t about rebelling against her parents so she can live her own life, but then again, the writer didn’t even care to give her any talents or special interests apart from playing the piano which we didn’t even know she could play until 30 something eps in. Would’ve been interesting to see, and maybe her dynamic with Beomsoo would’ve been more recieved by the people in this forum. Instead the writer has dumbed her down and made her sulk in bed.

Lunkera, I am so frustrated with this writer. Seri is not even a student anymore, and most importantly hasn’t been for almost twenty episodes!! He is not her professor anymore, and they started dating AFTER she dropped out. What is the writer trying to achieve?

Imo I don’t need them to hug or constantly hold hands to see chemistry. I think they have chemistry regardless, but that is subjective as evident on this forum 😂I think the actors are just doing what they’re told but yeah, Seri’s actress is very new to the whole acting game, let alone playing a love interest, while Beomsoo’s actor is basically a veteran. Beomsoo and Seri’s storyline is just so complicated and maybe that’s how the director is interpreting the writing and having the actors play it onto the screen.

This made me laugh 😂😭you must have forgetten why seri is acting that way towards beomsoo, no? her home life is a mess lol but she obviously loves him a lot. I’m sure he has given her multiple heart eyes throughout the series, but maybe that’s just me and my opinion. She is not a teenage student, but I can see why you may think that as the writer seems to write her as if she is one. Don’t think the actress abhors the actor, but rather she is still new in this acting game and he is very much married irl and she is scared of breaking boundaries because she has limited experience compared to him.

It seems like they are both the problem. Writer seems to have lost the plot and Producer seems to be rushing things and leaving scenes looking unfinished and awkward. Wish they didn’t have such a tight filming schedule, some scenes could probably turn out better if it weren’t for the time crunch 🥲

I saw Seri’s hug with Misun last night and it may actually be because of the actress 😅 she looked awkward hugging there too. I thought I was bothered by the hesistant and stiff hugging and then I remembered the story and can understand why they are like that, however I still wished there were better directing on those scenes (I blame the filming schedule and how little time they have to adjust things). My problem is with the writing. Idk what the writer wants to achieve. Seri hasn’t been a student let alone Beomsoo’s student for like 10 episodes now, why are they still writing her like one? This student/professor thing should’ve been scrapped the moment Seri dropped out LOL.

Wow, I guess the writer really hates the 4th and 5th brother; Beomsoo and Kangsoo.
they have the least screentime out of the brothers/sister-in-law even though their stories are the most interesting.

Beomsoo can’t sleep in peace because his ex is looming in the bg trying to take Hani, his family is iffy about his gf(?) because of their past history with her family, so they’re treading lightly. Burned once in love and now he’s giving love a second chance which also happens to be his last shot but it’s not so smooth 😭The man can’t catch a break, just let him be so he can have his girls LOL.

Kangsoo has a girl he fancies but doesn’t even have time to think about love because of the secret regarding his birth/birthmother. Writer really hates him because he has no other storyline other than being an adopted son of the eagle family and the co-worker of the girl he is suspected to like 😂😭

Agree!! Please let them have a happy ending, the writer has given them such drastic obstacles that there is a possibility of them not working out, which scares me but is also keeping me invested. Truly romeo and juliet like FL’s mother said lol. I’ll seriously be pissed as well if they have a sad ending because I’ve been rooting for them and defending them with my whole chest from the anti-seri peeps 🤣

How can anyone watch a drama called ‘For Eagle Brothers’ and want the brothers gone? Dokgo Tak has competition in the D1 hater category LOL 🤣Anyways, Dongseok needs to grow a pair and get rid of his MIL asap, we’re all tired.

It’s really frustrating because we are past needing obstacles for the main leads. Their very obvious story already takes up most of the time, it was boring then and now, just let them get married LOL. You’re right, they should give MIL’s screentime to KS and Bom or even take HS and Okbun’s screentime 😆

It could probably be another jealous wife situation since beomsoo’s actor is married in real life too. His wife is a model from YG I think… Anyway, romance aside I think they have visual chemistry but romance could be because of the script and that’s how they’re told to act their parts. Beomsoo and Seri’s story is the most complicated out of all the couples so yeah 🤷🏽

I still think they very much have chemistry (the scene of them walking together last night exuded a lot of chemistry) but I feel like the director/writer is sabotaging their romance by adding all these obstacles. She hasn’t been his student for almost ten episodes now but they’re still writing her as if she is his student, which is strange. She has a job and can look after herself, but they’re still making him pick her up and drive her around and giving her lectures about her mom. I’m also disappointed that i’ve invested so much of my time into this drama, but it’s ending soon so I can’t just give up on it now lol 🤣

No, it isn’t working because they still have the kangsoo birth secret & embezzlement problem looming in the background and they subconsciously still feel guilty, as confirmed in the most recent ep lol

Chunsoo and Misun are so cute. I think they are miles better than the main leads and their chemistry is palpable. I have never once cringed or rolled my eyes at any of their actions like I have with the main couple lol. Shame they won’t be having a big wedding. I think these two are childhood friends to lovers done right. Can’t wait to see their married life…

I guess he’s just being cautious/wary because he wants to be with Seri for the long run, he has said a few eps ago that it’s his last chance at love and in ep 41 he said that he can’t ignore all the external problems. He comes off as a perfectionist with how it looks like he wants to solve all of the problems so that Seri doesn’t get hurt and so their relationship can run smoothly. I guess this isn’t a favourable trope for some people so I can understand why some don’t see the chemistry if two people don’t share the same dynamic in a rl.

I wonder how Seri will react and how she’ll be like towards Beomsoo once she finds out they (BS and Mom) have been keeping the birthsecret from Kangsoo and her. I already know what she’ll be like towards her Mom, but I wonder if she’ll be disappointed in Beomsoo too for keeping such a big secret

We all have different tastes and preferences so it’s understandable, but may I ask why you don’t see the chemistry? Is it because of the lack of intimate scenes? I think they have chemistry but I feel like it’s the script that’s causing them to fall flat.

I watched Young lady and a gentleman and the leads did not get married until the last episode which was so frustrating 😭We didn’t even get to see a post marriage scene in the show, we had to get it as a bonus clip that KBS drama uploaded onto their youtube channel LOL
