I disagree with the chemistry part. They did have a lot of chemistry in the earlier eps. I think they both don’t know how to approach a romantic relationship. Beom soo is probably burned from his ex so he’s still getting used to being in a relationship again, and Seri’s probably never dated in her life considering how sheltered her life has been. Yoon park is a wonderful actor but his acting is really stiff when it comes to anything romantic. is it because he just got married recently?

Their hug when he went to find her was less awkward and they weren’t even ‘dating’ i think the director wanted to get them as close as possible without blocking eachother’s faces in individual shots but the actress didn’t get the memo maybe bcs she was doing all that sobbing and can’t multitask lol. I find it funny how the actor slightly bends as if he’s so much taller than her and grabbing her like that as if she’s a toddler getting consoled bcs she got teased LMAO. Odd of the director to say yes to this awkward scene though, they should’ve re-shot it 🤣

Beomsoo’s actor and FL’s actor are close irl because they have played lovers in a previous drama lol. I’ve also noticed how lively he is in scenes with her. I don’t think he’s acting in those scenes and neither is she 😅they seem to have a good bond.

No need to say sorry lol, we each like what we like 😂😂 I just happen to like the messiness and angst of their storyline lmao

I hope Gyeol ends up with that doctor, she’s pretty from what I remember, and they’re in the same profession.

I’m ngl, I’ve skipped most of their scenes because their story is pretty predictable, however it got interesting after FL got pissed off at him for being a sookie lala 😂all I know is they’re now dating so good for them ig. I still feel like it’s way too soon, but maybe that’s just me. I caught a glimpse of their wedding pic in the last few eps and it hit me that damn, she just lost her husband not too long ago lmao.

I also feel like the love story between her mom and the bald man is like a filler plot lol. It’s funny, and cute at times, but damn, we don’t need it! 🤣

Hairdresser lady has so much more chemistry with the Vet too. Idk why they paired her with the third brother. I genuinely don’t see him changing his character any time soon to make it look believable that he likes Hairdresser lady lol. He’s so immature and childish. Maybe he’ll be the brother that will be unmarried by the end of the show. 😂

I’m going to assume you are a part of the majority who don’t like angst and messiness, right? 😭Beomsoo and Seri are a classic case of she fell first and he fell harder I think. But yes, to each their own, I am a full blown angst and heartbreak enjoyer 🤣🤣

I’m looking forward to seeing 2nd brother propose to Misun though! I think they would be my fave after the mess that is Beomsoo & Seri LMAO.

CEO & FL’s Romance is kinda boring to me. I feel like there should of been a time jump so that it wouldn’t look like she moved on so fast from her husband that died. CEO got 15 years to grieve but she only got what? like couple months??

Welp. We like different things and that’s okay 😂 I don’t think he ever told her to get lost though, he just removed her as his TA, and he was constantly checking up on her even though he didn’t have to at the time when she confessed her feelings.

If we’re going talk about which brother has shown zero evidence of liking their love interest, I think that would be Mr Zumba instructor lol. He has been super disrespectful to Hairdresser lady throughout this entire show, and doesn’t give any indication of liking her until Mr Vet comes along.

Beomsoo & Seri’s story isn’t your cup of tea
so it’s a given that you didn’t feel any romantic undertones in that staring scene, and that’s okay too! 😌

It’s not really forcing when she’s been established as his love interest from the beginning 😭😂It’s okay to say that you don’t like them, and that you prefer simple and straightforward love stories. It doesn’t change the fact that the whole point of their story is that it’s angsty. He obviously likes her/has some sort of attraction for her, but because of his family’s past with her parents, he’s being cautious and wary. Their story is obviously not going to be a happy & easy going one like CEO and FL lol. It’s okay for the multiple love stories to have different trajectories 😂
If we’re talking about K-Drama cliches, the scene of him staring at her as she’s outside with Hani with the sparkly/dreamy music in the bg is definitely one whether we like it or not😂😂

His flashback montage in the recent episode just confirmed that to me, he fell first LOL. I knew he felt a little something when I first saw that scene of him staring at her outside, because why else would they put sparkly-lovey-dovey music in the bg? 😂

LOL I just remembered something. Technically, Beomsoo secretly fell first, becauuse remember that scene where he’s in the middle of a class and he sees Seri outside playing with Hani? What the hell was that look for sir?? mouth slightly open and all 🤣🤣and to think he rejects her advances later cracks me up.

I agree. While some people are convinced he’s not in love with her, I do see that he’s feeling extremely sympathetic towards her now. Constantly worried about her safety and feelings, when he doesn’t have to – I think it’s going to develop into something more.

It’s fun running towards the sadness and heartbreak I guess 😂😂

Beomsoo tends to set boundaries, yet he still lets her break them because he is not firm with his feelings. It’s a tricky situation.

The writers I feel wasted time in developing Seri’s character. She had potential from what was described in her character description. but I feel like the writers just had her sulking in bed for like 20+ episodes 😂😂

I really don’t understand the screentime distribution. I thought this show was about the brothers? Yet Beom soo and Kang soo rarely get any screentime. Is it because they’re not working at the brewery? Heung soo gets way too much screen time for being the irrelevant brother hahah, And I don’t think there should even be a focus on the sister in law’s mom as much as we’re getting. What even is her story?

Mine would be the same as yours, cutting off ties with her parents OR if tak dies 😱or mi ae goes to jail or something. Their story really is like Romeo & Juliet, and it’s heartbreaking. I feel like the writers should’ve focused on Beom soo and Seri’s storyline more from the beginning as their families have had history together, which is the basis for this drama. With 16 episodes left, I’m not confident that there will be a satisfying buildup to the ending where Beom soo and Seri get married, which again is sad.

As ironic as it sounds, she might be distancing herself from Beom soo now after finding out about the embezzlement thing. Even though she told him to not push her away. It’s wishful thinking but I really hope she does and just deals with her parents head on instead of sulking, feeling sorry for the eagle family while doing nothing about it.

I want to see her put her educated self into society and become helpful. 🙏🏻

This is a wholesome family drama so I doubt they will do this but omo. imagine tak dies 😱😱that will take paying the price for him and his wife’s crimes to a whole new level, it might even be satisfying even for some viewers. Hopefully not though for the sake of Seri 😭I too hope Seri looks for paid work experience. She’s too grown to be sitting around and sulking about her parents’ wrongdoings. Like Beom soo even said that she shouldn’t worry about the things her parents did before she was born. I hope to see a happy and independent Seri soon because I know she has so much potential. They wouldn’t pair her with the smart and well put together brother just for her to be lazy and dependent right?

I guess you’re right. but still, it’s her life, it didn’t excuse her parents acting like it was the end of the world for not wanting to marry Gyeol. But that’s the writers fault for making Seri incompetent at speaking up.

With the way things are going with this drama, I doubt we will see any of the brothers get married lol. 16 eps left, but it seems like the relationships are only just starting to blossom. I feel like the drama should be retitled ‘Eagle brothers’ sister in law’ as it seems to be more about her than the brothers, they hardly get any screentime, especially the two youngest ones. Still a good drama though! Just wish we got more insight on the brothers rather than the sister in law…

She did say she wasn’t interested in marrying Gyeol and only saw him as an older brother and you saw how her mom reacted lol. her parents weren’t going to take no for an answer.

Your other points are fair though. I also hope to see her apologize to Beom soo, maybe distance herself a bit from him and have him pining for her. But it seems like the writers love to make the women in this drama beg and plead even if it makes them look pathetic.

I also don’t think she ruined his reputation entirely, the anonymous letter thing has been settled and he still has his job. However I do think the ex will try to do something after eavesdropping his conversation with Tak… so maybe you are right lmao

This was a solid episode! I feel like it got straight to the point and there were no filler scenes. Good development for most of the couples, and of course the wholesome birthday party scene for the nation's little princess, Oh Hani!
