We never know the 'real' reason but back then Lusi was filming that show and TROTAR at the same time, she barely had time to sleep and even couldn't remember her script properly so she had to let go one of them. Both the ugly guy and her team wanted her to let go TROTAR because they thought it was only a low budget puppet drama but Lusi always felt that she had responsibility to finish filming the drama since she already accepted it thus she left the show.
I always think Lusi has the ability to know suitable potential projects for herself but her team is just meh.. Thank God Lusi insisted to accept TROTAR and Long Balad back then eventhough her team against it.

I saw a rumor on melon acc on twitter few weeks ago, they said 🐧is considering to bring them back together for another project but they still try to adjust both of their schedules. They also mentioned that Wulei is willing to wait for Lusi's free schedule.

Simon's first post already gave enough face for both of them to break up peacefully but unfortunately Melody just had to spill the dirt for public to see, and getting worse because Simon also gave a respond to her post. Not gonna point a finger and put the blame to any of them but that was really not a wise move especially Melody who depends on traffic and good reputation as internet celebrity.
Yes, I'm glad it's not a betrayal plot but I wish they could keep whatever happen in relationship stay hidden behind the scene and move on in peace.

This drama is surprisingly really good. I enjoy the bickering between the leads, both Tao and Zuer are eloquent and witty. The story of the supporting roles is also enjoyable. This drama is an example of sweet romance and good comedy🥰
When I was watching the scene of Hanpu protecting Xiyun from the arrows and then died, I was about to go to China and hunt the writer down.
