they hired a new colorist team and will re-edit the color grading in ep 1-4https://twitter.com/stefankante/status/1811761801169895513?t=OS4SkW5yXGmPDLbUlJ6X5g&s=19
It's crazy that the color grading was so bad that they brought in a whole new post production house to fix it while the show's still airing. But they won't be able to fix everything, a lot of scenes are poorly lit with bad shadows on people's faces and there's nothing they can do about that. Smack in the head to the director.
I'm sad the writing for this is so boring, the acting of both couples is great but there's almost nothing going on. I'm just waiting for it to be over. Hope all the leads get better written dramas in the future.
No. He never died and he wasn't lost in the past. This is what happened : - In the present (2024), Gwiju saved…
Because he can only return back to the moment he left from and if he'd gone back to that moment he would have returned to the wall collapsing on him during the fire at Ina's school and died
I'm wondering how they are going to handle the romance because Jane is a full adult and has power over Ryan as his boss, it could give the ick if it's not handled right.
How was it?I am thinking of starting this but can't find the enthusiasm
So far there's zero BL elements to it, first two episodes are a workplace drama focused on film and TV production, if that interests you it's worth it but if you want to see cute couple moments so far there's zero.
I think he wants the young roles. If you see him on Instagram he's always dressing in cute outfits with lots of…
I absolutely agree but I kind of think Gun wants the childish roles. For example, in Cooking Crush he and Off could've been a chef and a doctor but instead they made the characters students. And it's obviously Gun who wants this because Off is seeking out more mature roles.
This is a workplace drama, not a traditional BL. It looks like the romance will start to show up next episode but I think it's going to be a very slow burn with not a lot of fanservicey moments that can be put up on TikTok. That's a big reason why the MDL ratings are so low. The fanwars have something to do with it too but it's more that this drama so far isn't delivering what BL fans expect.
I think Off is very good. It's nice to see him in a mature role, down to letting his mustache show. The writing for the character is good too, this is someone who's excellent at his job and gets impatient with laziness and a lack of responsibility which is fair.
Gun is just flat out miscast in this. He looks great for his age but he doesn't look 19. Plus he's gotten into some bad habits with his acting where he does the same doe eyes, trembling lips, crying deal. It's not entirely his fault because the character is written to be super passive which is incredibly annoying. If Ryan worked for me and just stood around with his mouth gaping open I'd be pissed too.
The show isn't bad but it's still a little flat. I'm not sure what they are trying to say about the workplace and industry. It's Ryan's journey to adulthood but he's so passive that I don't care much about him at this point. He's just kind of boring so far. Everyone around him is a lot more interesting, esp Jane and View's characters. Having said that, there's no way this deserves a 6.9 rating, that's just insane.
OffGun's strongest role so far's been Not Me. Both were good, but especially Gun excelled. And IMO he shone as…
