I had the same reaction to Judy teasing Bahmee, I could not get over the audacity

What put me off on Judy was her showing up at Bahmee's father's restaurant the next day and not apologizing for kissing her back. It's terrible behavior for a boss and makes it hard for me to root for them even though they are about to go full romance.

He was very good in his angry scenes! I would love to see more of him

I was legitimately very sad during their breakup scene and I didn't expect to be. I like how Pah voiced how a lot of us in the audience felt about it all.

Jane's behavior on the set is a textbook illustration for why a boss shouldn't have any romantic involvement with a direct report. He was jealous and couldn't control his emotions which led to bullying. That's literally workplace harassment. I enjoy this show a lot but every time the romances advance I'm squirming.

She stood in front of him with her arms out and blocked his view of Taichi when Taichi was trying to speak to him and then she dragged him away. In what universe would you allow a friend to do that? Wouldn't you at least say hold up, wait a minute, I need to speak with him etc. Especially when we know Kohei is in love with Taichi and wants to speak with him and we've seen him initiate the kiss and otherwise reach out to him. In the scene where Kohei acts confused because Taichi says that girl is interfering I was like what, her standing in front of you and blocking your view of Taichi wasn't enough for you to figure it out?

The drama should be able to stand alone without people having read the manga first.

I don't think Kohei's behavior with Maya is plausible. Why would Kohei allow her to drag him around and openly disrespect the boy he cares about? How could he be surprised when Taichi told him Maya was separating them? It's very out of character for him. It doesn't make sense given what we've seen from him up to now.

But I loved the scene where Kohei tells Taichi he doesn't want anyone else eating his food. That hand touch and stare was amazing. I like that they take care of each other, it isn't one person doing all the labor.

Small cute thing I noticed: Taichi is always wearing tees from the US, probably to reflect that he's a loud character with no filter 😂

Yeah, I like the show but people are being too defensive of criticism. If you came in thinking you were getting epic OffGun romance, this is not it, at least not so far.

I just did a quick look at Twitter and there aren't a lot of Thai fans commenting on the GL storyline. They're mostly excited over Ryan confessing.

For me it's the execution. It's good to have a character who brings complexity to the disability storyline but it wasn't necessary for her to try to force apart Kohei and Taichi 20 minutes after she was introduced to the story. That's the part that comes across as a cliche. Having a character who's angry, imperfect and mistrustful is good but it has to be well written and for me the writing wasn't there.

ETA: I'm thinking of the scene where Kohei admits he's uneasy about other people finding out that Taichi is great. If Maya had responded that she never trusts hearing people to prefer the company of hard of hearing people, it would've introduced the conflict more subtly rather than have her go full on break up mode.

I have a very different reaction than you do but this was beautifully written, it made me like 2% less annoyed with him 😂

Finally someone said it 😭😭😭 listen, I love OffGun too but Ryan is a terrible character and there's no reason someone as fantastic as Jane would be in love with him

Judy should have protected Bah-mee from the clients, that's on her too

I blame Judy the most because yes Tae and Bahmee had problems and weren't behaving well but Judy is the adult and the boss kissing a drunk employee. She's the one who deserves the hate train Bah-mee is getting.

Also AFTER JUDY ISN'T BAHMEE'S BOSS ANYMORE

The scene between Judy and Bah-mee was gorgeously shot and acted and if it hadn't been a cheating storyline I would've swooned. But it was so screwed up, especially Judy's behavior. She's the boss, Bah-mee was drunk and Judy knows her boyfriend. That would get you fired IRL. I'm really curious about how all this will play out for Judy because so far the drama has been very realistic about work life. I don't know what will happen with Tae and Bah-mee either but I'm guessing they will break up in the end after talking things out.

When Ryan grabbed the wrong bottle I shouted Not This Shit Again. He's so slow and immature that it's causing me physical pain. I do not ship him with Jane. He's a child who isn't taking any responsibility for himself while Jane is a full man who's smart, has integrity and is great at his job.

ETAA: I forgot to say that even with all my complaints this was the best episode so far. The pacing was great, the cinematography was great, everyone is putting in strong performances and finally the plot moved

I legit can't stand Ryan. He's so immature and (LBR) stupid that I can't ship him with Jane who is smart and responsible and looks fantastic in jeans. Jane deserves an adult not a child.
