Even though this drama includes some of the cliche tropes in k-dramas, it’s done in a way that kinda works for…
I would bet money that Ju UK ends up running the orphanage with funding from Gyu-hyun

You don’t consider lovely runner a romcom ? Cause I think lovely runner is a tad higher but this show is really…
The writing is better in NGNL. I enjoyed Lovely Runner for The chemistry between the leads but the time travel plot was a mess

34-year-old men with enormous power can't blame mommy for their bad behavior. Bok Gyu-hyun is responsible for everything he's done and he should be working his ass off to make it right but instead he's whining as if he's the victim. Feh. That's why Hae-yeong telling him off was so gratifying. I think the only reason BGH is at all tolerable is because the actor is incredibly charming. But he's written as a giant man-baby. This is my only major complaint with this drama.

bruh she was so supportive what are you on abt
The scene where she comforted him on the bed and said she felt sorry because she didn't know what he was going through and wasn't able to help him. I don't know what people expect from her.

I like it, but I feel once he came to her company and moved in her house the dinamic changed. Was more inter3sting…
The plot is cliched but the characters, dialogues and humor aren't.

I’m gonna finish the show obviously but still hate the Ja Yeon and CEO ship so much. No chemistry. They knew…
I'm much more interested in seeing the CEO bond with Ji UK than I am in the second Romance

read a comment here saying this show is not for conservatives, I've watched 1 ep, and I liked it but does it get…
There's a character who's in an unusual relationship (being deliberately vague here to not to spoil) that may or may not upset you depending on how sensitive you are about it. There's nothing explicit though.

So something that has really bothered me is that the whole point of a forced marriage trope is that strangers/friends…
The forced marriage trope is about to get very important now that Gyu-hyun knows Ji Uk is his brother and that the Chairman has said he wants Hae-young involved in the succession battle because she has more hunger to climb the ladder than either of his sons. Ji Uk and Hae-young had to be married to move on to this part of the story. No it's not the usual way this trope plays out but that's been true several times in this story.

I hear there's a Polygamy relationship? interesting, I've never really seen that in a K drama. I'm curious
It's a small side plot and they don't show much about it

Someone on Reddit has this theory and I think it's a good one:
------
After rewatching Ep. 8, my going theory for Ji-Uk's connection with Hae-Yeong's mum is:

someone (maybe Ja-Yeon's father, or someone else connected to the foster kids) killed Hae-Yeong's dad, leading to the erstwhile end of her foster home. Hae-Yeong distanced herself from her mum, but then mum unbeknownst to Hae-Yeong started fostering (a) kid(s) again after her husband's death -- and took in Ji-Uk, keeping it secret from anyone else, with him being her closest confidant until she started showing symptoms of dementia and checked herself in. That'd explain how Hae-Yeong (or any of the other sisters) don't know about Ji-Uk, but also his close connection to her mum, and also Ja-Yeon's very real trauma and visceral fear. I'm clearly thinking about this too much (but then again, deducing from very limited bits of evidence is pretty much my job) 😂

I think FL would have to leave the company. ML should as well, he doesn't owe his father anything. Her ex won't…
The father said that Hae-young had more smarts and ambition than either of his sons, I think there's going to be some kind of twist where she will get a big promotion (yes it's not realistic but this is a contract marriage romcom)

Hey....I know all the ratings went down, but 2.6% for episode 7 was too low and episode 8 didn't improve much…
Ratings were also down for Love Next Door by two percentage points, it's because of the holiday

I'm incredulous of people's reactions to 2ML. The supposedly well educated public figure wrote super nasty hate…
I hear you but I know he's going to have more character development especially now that he knows who his brother is. I predict he's going to learn be a better person from Ji UK. Having said that I can understand why people would say fuck this storyline.

I hate that twist with hate comments. I think is very lazy by scripwriter make Ha Jun the responsible of the worst…
The one stumble in the writing for me. But I will say I like that Gyu Hyun didn't try to make the secretary take the fall for the comments and instead took full responsibility under his own name. Also, I don't think she knew that his mother could destroy her audio play? But yeah, I don't like that the secretary wrote the worst comment and that he used her background to do it

I do not think this is just a Prime thing as Viki and Netflix also do censorship i.e knifes if used in a violent…
Vicky and Netflix only blurred knives if it's a show that aired on Korean broadcast tv. Cable shows and OTT shows don't blur
