If you're open to BLs, Be My Favorite has time travel, flawed characters and a lot of emotional growth. It's severely underrated because a lot of fans were unhappy with the actors being paired up together and it's a shame because it's a truly wonderful drama.

She grows a lot and you understand her better as the drama goes along

One observation: the reason for the fat suit is because the character's weight fluctuates a lot over the course of the drama and that wouldn't be possible to achieve by simply hiring a bigger actress.

It's a good question. I don't think we're going to know if it's a mistake or not until the end of the story. But I did notice that so far Gwiju has not been able to get into the school even though Dahae is in there. I don't know why.
