Every time I see someone say "Ina is my favorite character" I start cringing. Not because Ina isn't amazing, she is and I love her. But she's also the easiest character to like and sympathize with. The entire point of the drama is you have these deeply flawed and unlikable people at the start who grow into better human beings. It's crazy to me how many people can't deal with characters who aren't black and white (this is all in reaction to a review I read from a big kdrama account where the reviewer entirely missed the point of the drama)
I generated Thai subs for the dialogue and what he says is เดารักหมอแล้วว่ะ which…
Don't feel like an idiot! They don't have Thai subs on YouTube, I downloaded it and then ran it through a subtitle generating website called Maestra because I'm crazy 😭
This is the first marriage proposal in a GMMTV BL after marriage equality passed which made it very emotional, especially Cher's line about never believing people like them could legally marry 😭😭😭 I wonder if we're going to get a double wedding by the end of this drama, that would really be something.
waitdid they just edit this inmarriage equality bill approvedor shooting two versions of this scene like Cherry…
They must've shot two versions and edited at the last minute because the headline in Thai reads "equal marriage passed by the upper house" which only happened last week.
I'm a little bored. It's cute and all, but I don't think there is much substance or plot behind it. Except of…
I'm hitting ff hard but they are all so cute that for now I'm sticking with it. There's enough sweet moments to make me want to keep watching but the lack of plot is frustrating.

I'm enjoying the drama, but I wasn't a fan of Chen Mai Dong physically overpowering Zhuang Jie so he could kiss…
It was bad and so was the moment when the FL bit the MLs hand during a fight. They are both volatile people who act out in violent ways under stress. I love them but it's not a sweet hearts and flowers relationship.
Tho a nice drama, I can understand why people hate the FL
The ML is messy too though, he force kisses the FL twice but not many people hate on him for it. I feel like they're both equally problematic and yet also equally sympathetic because of everything they've gone through.
I really want to watch this but can someone tell if it has too heavy drama? I can't handle any heavy drama rn…
It's a drama that deals with heavy topics and sometimes it gets very sad but overall I wouldn't say it's heavy. It's also got a lot of funny and light-hearted moments. But maybe save it for when you're in a better mood?
The ending made more sense than him mercilessly saving himself while showing us for weeks that his death was inevitableand…
The ending was incredible because we already knew most of what was going to happen but the way it unfolded was so unexpected plus the emotional stakes were so high at that point that it felt hugely cathartic, honestly one of the best K-drama endings I've ever seen
I dropped this after ... I think ep 4. But today YouTube recommended me the new episode, and since it was episode…
The business model isn't working as well as it used to. GMMTV's viewership is down, though to be fair so is viewership on Netflix and pretty much all media across the board. But yeah, their output just feels tired, there's no breakout couples and the writing for most of their BLs is uninspiring. OTOH, people don't support great BLs like Be My Favorite so it's on the fans too.
The ads are taking majority of the screen time😭... Did they combine ads meant for four series into this one…
I agree on ep 1 being better than ep 2, I thought it was adorable and then ep 2 absolutely ruined an iconic scene that should've been a slam dunk because they shoved in two unneeded songs. People are saying Gemini and Fourth are delivering bad performances but honestly nothing going on here is their fault, we've seen what they can do with a good director and script. This is just a GMMTV cash grab slapped together with no understanding of the source material.
