This version has been very careful to not give you second lead syndrome which is no doubt why they played Ren's…
There's no kiss between Ren and Gorya and she was thinking about Thyme when they had the almost kiss so yeah I think F4T has drawn the line much more clearly than other versions. Like you may prefer Ren as a viewer but the production is signaling like crazy that Ren is not the one.

Is gmmtv a very big agency in Thailand or why is every actor in that agency?
Yes, it's a big agency and they also produce all of the TV shows for their parent company, GMM Grammy. That's why you keep seeing the same actors in shows on certain stations.

So about the violence that Gorya had to suffer through this episode, it was hard to watch and yet again, like…
This is such an astute comment, especially about us caring about Gorya and not caring about Phupha. And I completely forgot about Kavin's words, WOW you just blew my mind.

And your point about the red card escalations is one I made on Twitter. It keeps coming around and Thyme trying to seal the door (literally!) on the cards and violence isn't enough. He hasn't finished the work.

ETA: First Thyme cancels the red card for Gorya only because he's in love with her. That's easy. Then he apologizes to Hana for the harm he did to her and bleeds in order to stop her from harming herself, and even apologizes to Gorya because his bad past behavior boomeranged on her but that's not enough. Next he tries to seal the door to the stadium and cancel all red cards but that's not enough either, he does it for Gorya and the F4 but it's not adequate, the monster he created with his actions can't be caged that way. Now we get the final attempt to repair the harm and move forward. Next week is going to be freakin' brutal.

The other scene that was incredibly romantic was when Thyme rescues Gorya after Hana reinstates the red card and…
Forgot to mention that I cried during the birthday countdown (the only time I've cried through the whole series). It was such a pure and intensely emotional scene and it's also one of the favorite scenes of the director (the other one is the storeroom scene! He loves the romantic moments as well)

I really love how we seen gorya having to be saved twice by thyme but the auidence knows she's not a damsel in…
They are for sure end game but wooooo you blew my mind with that observation about the red card. Because the red card represents Thyme's toxic abuse of power and until he truly grapples with that Gorya will be in danger. He can't protect her from the threat, he needs to confront what he's created and dismantle it.

I'm not liking the way they made Ren -- he does love her more in this drama (so in some ways it's good) -- but…
This version has been very careful to not give you second lead syndrome which is no doubt why they played Ren's rescue scene that way.

as much as i'd love to see gorya and thyme kiss, i'm not disappointed with the romance aspect of the show at all.…
The other scene that was incredibly romantic was when Thyme rescues Gorya after Hana reinstates the red card and then they spend the night in the storage room. The star lights on the ceiling and when he grabs her face, gah.

Agreed. I'd also like to add that there is an abundance of fluffy romance (Including Meteor Garden and BOF lol)…
Their romantic moments are unconventional. For example, when Thyme rescues Gorya from Hana's red card and they spend the night together in the storage room it's incredibly romantic (also sexy!) even with no real kiss. There was also the moment they sat together at the dark stadium after the big F4 brawl. And Thyme's birthday countdown outside Gorya's house was another big romantic moment. You also get a sweet moment between them at the birthday party when they first see each other before Lita shows up. I don't know, I love cheese as much as the next person but this is a dark romance and they are clearly not going for hearts and flowers.

although gorya’s bullying scene was hard to watch, it was an important one. in episode 7, thyme closes the stadium…
One million percent agree with what you said! The name of the episode is The Time Machine. Thyme has to go back to address what happened. When the students took down the door with his warning it chilled me because even though he tried to close the door on his violent past it's not enough. He has to do the work!

Another great decision from the writers:The trio of bitches are not over played. I was wondering why we didn't…
I just assumed the actress became temporarily unavailable 🤣

although i hate that gorya has to suffer for thyme’s crimes, i think this is what thyme needs to truly stop…
THIS. I think ep 11 is going to be super heavy and dark because Thyme's monster side is going to boomerang back on him and Gorya and we will also get scenes of Talay and Phupha together to drive home the harm Thyme has done.

I would love to see bright & milk being casted as a lead in another drama. Thyme lita is kind of cute too. I hope…
Milk is great. She had the GL subplot in Bad Buddy and even though she didn't get a lot of screen time she was very memorable. I want to see more of her for sure.

I dont think I saw anyone make this exact point after episode 7 and I like it. I think a lot of viewers have a…
I agree I haven't seen anyone else make that point (including me and my podcast partners when we discussed the scene) and it's very astute. That scene worked for me narratively but I don't think I was conscious of exactly this dynamic.

ive seen some people doubting if gorya has feelings for thyme and ive to say to those people, Are you actually…
Also Thyme should've taken the time to explain to her what was going on and what his plan was to make sure they could be together. He just told her to be patient but Gorya isn't the kind of person who can just sit on the sidelines and wait. Kavin paid her the respect of explaining how important the funeral was and Ren paid her the respect of warning her about Lita's feelings. Thyme loves Gorya but wasn't treating her as an equal partner. Both Thyme and Gorya have to grow up some more before they can be together.

I love this comment, and I’m totally on board with more sexy content! We deserve it!I feel like the show has…
If you've read the manga you'll know that it's stuffed with sex. I haven't read the whole thing but I've seen scenes of Domyouji and Makino rolling around in bed topless, you know, typical teen stuff. And the rest of the F4 and kids at the school are just having sex all the time. So it's interesting to me that most of the filmed versions sublimate the sexual aspects of the story. I get it because it's teens and kind of unseemly to show too much sex on screen but it also means you're not getting the full understanding of how much of the dynamic between the ML/FL is about sexual desire.

Couple questions: Are you watching the show? And, are you here for discussion? (or did you just intend to leave…
I had twitter conversations like this after Episode 7 when someone posted That Scene on Twitter with no context and there was a huge freakout. It's hard to tell people yes that's awful but it's supposed to be awful and the storytellers aren't letting him off the hook for his behavior and there's real character development in this version. Because honestly if someone is having a visceral bad reaction it's justified, especially because one in four women have experienced intimate partner violence and I think the show will be triggering a.f. for a lot of people even with all the wonderful character development.

Alright, so I've been waiting for a discussion about the Kaning / Kavin scene at the beginning of the episode…
Kavin flirts because it's his default and he's super smooth and good at it BUT his behavior with Kaning is so much more than that. For one thing, in other episodes you see him smile but his eyes are ice cold. With Kaning, the smile reaches his eyes and he lets out genuine laughs with her, something he hasn't done with anyone else. Plus helping her with Lita's order, he's willing to engage with her on her ground (remember in the 4000 baht episode he brings her to his home to intimidate her).

But most importantly, when he arranged for the flower shop to work the funeral, it was an acknowledgement of the respect that Gorya and Kaning have both earned from him. And he's not someone whose respect is easily earned. He's been the member of the F4 who's been the gatekeeper for their power and status in the world. So the whole bit where he tells Kaning to be more careful with the flower arrangements? Is his expression of deep respect and regard for her and Gorya.

Now are they end game romance? That I don't know because that storyline has played out differently in every version. But right now it's clearly established that Kavin thinks Kaning is someone special (as she is!).
