Hae Jin is smart enough to remember her from years ago but not enough to see the obvious that the fl doesn't like…
I think he's desperate to escape from his family and he's latched on to her because she managed to get out and he admires her for it and hopes that she's a way for him to do the same thing. That's why he's ignoring her lack of interest. I feel really sorry for him even though some of his behavior has been shady, especially after what we saw of his problems in episode 8.
Rom-coms as 12 episodes would be perfect. PMY isn't an actress who will blow your socks off, but she does her…
I wouldn't describe her as perfect, not at all. Emotionally she's a basket case and behind the beautiful facade her life is a disaster. She's pretty obviously traumatized by the way she grew up.
It’s episode 8 and they not dating 😩I’m tired bruh!
I love this show but ep 8 was the first episode I disliked because I couldn't believe they had that whole conversation at the end of ep 7 about him pretending to be comfortable because he was afraid she wouldn't come to his apartment anymore and yet they never got together in ep 8. Also the story got super makjang right at the end. I did like getting more of Hae Jin's back story and finally seeing Gwangnam become his bodyguard but mostly I was like 😩😩😩😩😩😩
is it good? i know it's a PMY rom com but is it cute and fun like what's wrong with secretary kim or is it bad…
It's a very strange drama in a good way if you're into that kind of thing. If you go in expecting a frothy romcom, this ain't it. It's weirdly dark with complex characters and some laugh out loud funny moments but also a lot of deeply sad moments as well. This drama is super polarizing and some people hate it but if you appreciate a kind of bent sensibility and unconventional plotting, you will love this.
this casting is attacking me personally 😍 is it any good ?
It's good but it's also really odd. Someone on Reddit commented "I'm still trying to figure out if I like it. I find it compulsively watchable, but all of the characters minus Gwang Nam are just...off (intentionally)...and I find myself struggling to connect with Jamie/Cha Eun (sic). She's a disaster. But a watchable one!"
Ep 5 makes me want to drop this drama. I knew she was going to end up in contract relationships with the male…
The writers of this drama are very deliberately messing with your expectations. For one thing you get dropped into the story when the lead couple has already started to fall in love with each other. And the second male lead is never in the running at least up to episode 6. It's not a traditional triangle.
For the rest of your complaint I think if you keep it in mind that the FL is traumatized by her upbringing and is operating on the emotional level of a 14-year-old her behavior makes a lot more sense. Like I have no trouble understanding the dynamic with Madame Yoo who is her surrogate mother. You see this dynamic play out a lot in dysfunctional mother-daughter relationships
I thought that was the point, actually. Since she was raised to be exactly how other people wanted her to be (her…
I agree with this. She told Jiho that his door was broken but the room is fine, but with her the door is beautiful but the room is a wreck. Her journey will be to emotionally heal and become a real adult.
He has a significant subplot. We had the scene where he tells Sang Eun that his sister blames him for his niece having a girlfriend and the scene at the family memorial where he fights with his sisters because they want him to get married. Plus there are gay rumors about the 2ML so at some point they are going to meet and I'm sure we'll get further development of that plotline.
