I honestly enjoyed this movie a lot. It was fun, entertaining. The stands looked cool, Iseya was great, actually, most of the cast played their roles really well. I suppose it didn't go well in Japan though bc we never heard of a sequel... That's sad, I'd love to know what excuse they'd create for Kira to be the one who killed Keicho in this version since we all who are familiar with the source material know that Kira doesn't attack other stand users without a reason.
Usually when I enjoy a movie as much as I enjoyed Ichi The Killer I take a look at the original source material. This is not the case here. I haven't read the original manga and I don't want to bc I know Kakihara in the manga is different and what made me enjoy this movie so much was Kakihara as he is here. This movie is absolutely sick and I loved every second of it.
I've always thought Nana would be perfect for a drama series... but a Chinese drama? I'm interested, but since I've never watched a Chinese drama before and I'm aware that China's censorship is very heavy sometimes I'm kinda afraid.
I really like her! I hope to see her in more different roles tho, all her characters I've seen in movies were very quiet and stoic, I'd like to see her playing a more extroverted and outgoing role.
Briliant. Issei Takahashi is back with the best Rohan Kishibe live action portrayal that I could ever ask for. The way they changed the "Stand" into some kind of spirit/ghost to adapt a Jojo arc into the second episode of this season was genius. The third episode was also very intense... Man, I loved this season as much as I loved season 1, I hope we get a third one!
I fell in love with him when watching The Spies Who Loved Me (funny bc I started it for Eric Mun but ended up liking Juhwan's character better), so after it ended I watched The Game: Towards Zero and loved him there too. I wanna watch more of his works but they're either too difficult to find subbed or just not up my alley (my own fault here, I'm not into romcom or romance dramas in general)... I hope he gets a new role soon!
His interpretation of Rohan was FLAWLESS. Rohan is a character who's very dear to me and I was so pleasantly surprised with the way Takahashi Issei portrayed him. I can't wait for the second season of the show.
