So, the headline says one thing and the text (the actress did receive the offer to lead the upcoming K-drama but eventually decided not to take the offer and star in the series) quite another. Who writes this drivel?
"an action drama that will showcase the life of a girl who lost HIS parents at a young age and grew up with the guidance of HER uncle who runs a shopping mall". So glad to see Kdrama embracing so many trans characters.
Pan Seok's 'weakness' (his grief and guilt about his little girl's death) is also his strength - it makes him extra empathetic and determined to resolve the deaths of all the other little kids.
But only by Korean standards (where people in their mid 30s play high schoolers) even then. In my culture anyone 18 plus is a adult in sexual terms. As long as people apply the SAME standards to men and women and to hetero/homo relationships its all cool.
I don't think that's true. I think you said quite recently that you were some sort of 'expert' on algorithms and could 'prove' that there was more negative comment on older woman/younger man pairings than the opposite but you haven't followed up on your claim. What I've observed is that (a) MDL commentators are obsessed with 'age gaps' even when the gap is negligible - and irrespective of whether the man or woman is older and (b) comments on older woman/younger man gaps are almost always labeled as misogyny but comments on older man/younger woman pairings are never called misandry.
For my part I don't care on the size of the gap as long as both parties are adults and there isn't a teacher/pupil or similar creepdom.
On episode 4. Is the teacher really falling for her student???? 😮Given the first couple of scenes in episode…
If she'd been a male teacher she would have ticked every sexual predator box - e.g. singling out a student for attention, finding reasons to be alone with them, staring lovingly into their eyes, etc. That's not what she's doing, but otherwise, yes.
Imagine this. people. A man walks past you and then collapses, clutching his head. Would you (a) exhibit some emotion, like surprise, concern, or fear, perhaps even going to his aid, or (b) stand still, staring at him blankly, as if you're having a stroke?
My hopes for the drama:-It has romance-The male lead is charismatic and badass not an afterthought or pushed around-No…
My hopes for the drama: - the FL does some actual 'acting' (for example her face shows different, what we call, 'expressions'' to denote different emotional states) -The male lead isn't a whipped drip, pining after/staring at the FL, but actually has some effect on the plot; - I can stand 'dig two graves' type lessons but no bollocks where the bullies get off scot-free.
