See, I think Naksu will die in part 2. I don't see any other way of them 'forgiving' her for the number of people she's slaughtered. She had her redemption arc in part 1 - living in the body of Mudeok/Buyeon - but that all went to hell when she got her powers back.

I love, love, love Rain or Shine. I cried solidly throughout. The depiction of PTSD - and how it manifests differently in different people - is masterful.

It's not a masterpiece, but it's not bad, either. The acting is decent, the genre is normally my favorite; I like the 'case-solving' format and I like ensemble pieces. The other is that the lead, particularly the FL, allegedly has no interest in relationships/love. Because you can guarantee that they'll be macking over someone - in stalkerish proportions - in the first episode. In this, too, the FL spent an inordinate amount of time doing a voice that would shame an intelligent 9-year-old whenever a male of the species appeared on the horizon. Ugh, no.

I wonder how they are going to resolve the issue of Naksu's 'soul' being, once again, a mass slaughterer? We saw her character development in s1, how she went from sociopathy to actually caring about other people - and why (she was 'trapped' in a physically weak body which meant that she had to learn other ways of being). But as soon as she gets her powers back and is reminded - by a few bells - of her mission, she goes on a murderous rampage. Or will all be forgiven because Jang Uk wants to hop on?
