for yall who think that this is a noona-younger guy romance dramait is not, consider reading the description or…
I have. Here are the tags: Age Gap [Drama Life], Age Gap [Real Life], School Violence, Miniseries, Pre-produced, Antihero, Revenge, School Bullying, School, Suspense. Perhaps you want to interpret 'age gap' for all us thickies?
Well with everyone except Gong Yoo lol, still today they've set the record for the least amount of chemistry betw…
They had no chemistry and she played a 19 year old like a particularly dumb 13 year old, but she has improved a lot and was a delight in - for example - Yumi's cells.
I'll be interested to see more detail about this. Is there a fourth sister? Who's the professor equivalent (we're assuming that WHJ is Laurie, but maybe he's not).
lol wut, that's definitely not the case. Not to mention there aren't many shows with that theme either.
I don't have a 'problem' with either pairing as long as they're both grown-ass adults. I also don't care about the relative ages of the actors and actresses involved (as long, etc.). I DO have a problem with the - dishonest - evaluation that people are fine with old man/young woman dramas but not with the reverse. In my experience, they're shrieky about both. And the sheer number of noona dramas churned out suggests the 'problem' exists only in the minds of people who actively want Noona dramas.
whats with the comment section . even though i am not a big fan of LMH that doesn't mean i have to belittle his…
What 'acting skills'? When have you ever seen him do anything but standing there (looking pretty) and staring? He's the male equivalent of Song Hye Kyo.
I'm loving every minute of this so far. I think I've been starved of proper acting in the last couple of dramas I watched (and no, blank-faced staring doesn't cut it) so the fact that everyone is delivering a full-on performance is really joyful. And the guy playing Eul Tae . . . what an OTT, campy delight . . .
I wonder why people are complaining about female lead? Ya she's intrusive and shows too much worry but what's…
No, I'd be creeped out by stalker ML's, too. Particularly ones who cried 4 times an episode. Or who constantly stopped another doctor on their way to a medical emergency. It's not the actor's fault - she's written that way.
"Saying that it's only fiction is very insensitive. It's ignoring people who were hurt during the 1987 events and can still be hurt by a fictional representation of it for the sake of your own entertainment. It's not a very clever move."
This, 100%. I'm not sure a rational person would ever think that their right to simp over an 'oppa' (who, by the way, will never know they exist) trumps the right for the murdered and disappeared - or their families - to have certain aspects of history portrayed, well, accurately. And it would have been so easy to tweak one or two elements to eliminate the dodgy elements completely.
I haven't seen any real "hate" against him, you are overreacting. Most people like him.
He's decent in Sweet Home and a couple of other things. He didn't shine in Nevertheless but that was partly about the writing and his character (or lack thereof) and only partly about him doing that blank-faced staring thing that passes for 'acting' in (some) Korean dramas.
lol wut, that's definitely not the case. Not to mention there aren't many shows with that theme either.
The thing is, you have to go back several years to find a handful of old man/young woman dramas (that's why people constantly resurrect Goblin as their 'proof') but they churn out Noona crap at the rate of 3 or 4 a year. I get why, it's a sop to the middle aged women/wish fulfillment audience but lets not be dishonest about the numbers.
Did you miss the scene where he accidentally spills her takeaway and she chases after him, screaming like a demented harpy jumps on him and starts beating at/pulling at his head? Or is that 'funny'?
