This drama is amazing. The way it's built up... the tension is comparable to a good political drama (which it…
What is 'misleading' about it? It's about a relationship between a 40-something female teacher and one of the then-teenage pupils she taught 4 years earlier is it not? Someone with whom she went on private, one-on-one 'field trips' at the time. But, apparently, she doesn't start full-on slurping after him until episode 4. So that's OK.
All i think the haters who don't like this content don't take it serious but try to grow up DUDE ! Its not like…
I think some people dislike it because it's very, very dull and because the acing -particularly from the FL - is bad. Not because we want a "childhood sweetheart college puppy love story". I for one would welcome something more gritty and realistic. Unfortunately, this IS a "childhood sweetheart college puppy love story" it's just that the female lead is quite a bit older and is very wooden.
Realistic drama is not always good. Just because it's Unrealistic it still good for example, Happiness, The Red…
I agree, the setup of this drama is not in any way realistic but I'd rather have an unashamedly unrealstic drama, well executed and well acted than this boring mess.
Even though most comments are negative. this drama is pretty good. More realistic than most of the dramas airing…
I'm not sure its realistic to show kind, handsome young men - with, lets face it, better options - falling instantly in love with, and pursuing emotionless or angry, middle aged women, to quite the extent that kdrama does. It's wish fulfillment fantasy, like all the Hollywood films pairing 20 or 30-something, attractive women with . . . Harrison Ford or Sean Connery.
I think the age-gap thing was exacerbated by Kim Go Eun playing 19 (in my world an adult, albeit a young one) as if she was 12 or 13. She's become a much better actress since, but all the squealing and mugging made me cringe.
For a drama with a sprinkling of saucy bits, it's so. very, dull. The female lead, in particular - is she meant to be on Ambien? Will there be a big 'reveal' that she has a brain tumour or Parkinson's? I think she's attempting closed-down-because-of-trauma but doesn't have the acting chops to pull it off.
Congrats but why did they bother to announce it? This is a private matter after all and no one cares if actors…
I suspect because that way they have at least a small chance of having the news reported straight. Rather than a 'friend' leaking the information and a bunch of prigs, who still think its the 1950s, speculating.
I've loved Gong Hyo Jin in most things I've seen her in - she's lively and expressive, a natural actor. On the other hand, Lee Min Ho is kind of . . . wooden. Pairing them might be a mistake.
Cancel culture is trash. Most self-righteous anti-fans are also trash (and hypocrites). That being said, Kim Seon…
It's always been the case that the most priggish, prudish and sour-faced critics are the ones with the dirtiest secrets to hide. A rational person would never rely only on - unprovable - allegations or rumours (from either party) before they leapt to judgement.
Wow, this is bad. I knew the plot was shonky but the 'acting' is beyond cringe, too. I looked for a light, fluffy drama but that doesn't need to mean naff and embarrassing. On the plus side, some of the male characters are pretty.
I respect (and enjoy) the works he's done and his talent, but I'm confused why so many people of us are willing…
I don't care about the allegations for a number of reasons:
1. The whole truth might never be revealed (unsurprising in a he said/she said scenario). 2. It's a 'private life' thing, rather than a criminal offence. 3. I'm not anti-abortion. Nor do I live in 1950s Alabama and own a shotgun. 4. I don't look to entertainers for moral guidance, I just want them to be good at their job.
