Because he's not been filming any big roles in dramas not holding any concert or song events for years before he died. When he died initially a lot of people suspected suicide because as I said, he was struggling in his career and went from lead roles (1st or 2nd ML) to supporting or bit part roles with very few scenes or lines. He also didn't release new music or hold concerts or fan events for years, despite his main talent being singing. Thus a lot of the Chinese public hadn't heard from him for a long time and wondered if he was struggling to find acting and singing gigs but couldn't and felt suicidal. After that it was revealed he fell from a friend's home after a dinner event and people stopped speculating if he was depressed since it was unlikely someone would jump from a friend's home, but initially everyone thought he was depressed because he wasn't too popular and went from being quite famous in the 2010s to being relatively unknown.

You guys should've streamed his songs, watched his shows, bought his concert tickets and done everything you could to make him popular when he was alive, not hate on others now that he's dead. You guys are all super destructive, only posting hate and wanting other innocent actors to die, yet you barely supported Yu Menglong when he was active as a celebrity. His MDL page was very quiet before his sudden death too. So many hypocrites here.
