The story will be female POV or equal because Lareina is billed first on the posters and official announcements and Yuning is 2nd (he also said previously that he doesn't care about billing because he's a singer); nevertheless some of his fans complained that the poster was too female-centric and that his fandom is bigger but ultimately Lareina has more experience in acting than Yuning. I'm glad theres no billing drama!

Yukee Chen although imperfect (i really think the FL role should be played by a big beauty since the Emperor falls in love with her at first sight and in the book he's kinda lecherous, and even the eunuch risks it all to be with her) is more believable than Lusi who looks too normie to play the consort role. I would think actresses like Zhou Ye, Song Zuer, Hu Lianxin could also play the consort role but Yukee is fine.
