This is so cute and healing! Love the dynamic friendship between the 3 of them and the curries using local ingredients! Really hope they would do another season of them going up North to Hokkaido!!
Amazing drama. It's been a while a drama leaves such impression on me, it was so unsettling. It feels like a 6 hour long movie, the production was outstanding, the acting was excellent. Each case makes you wonder whom the disaster would fall upon. I was skeptical about the ending but now I reckon it's the best way to wrap up this series, it's creepier that way.
The first 5 EPs were so good I couldn't stop. Then I realised they tried so hard to push Nagisa-san with Mei. Everyone would be asking him what his feeling for her is, even though I see no other chemistry between them rather than "mother and daughter" lol. She has more chemistry with the other guys though. It's weird.
I enjoyed this more than Season 1, though some parts were questionable and the writing was a bit naive. Good to see Ichihara Hayato back! Is the ending suggesting another season?
So nostalgic watching this. I love Rika and was absolutely frustrated with how the rest of the characters being all indecisive and messing things up. The story is a lot more realistic, if it were a manga, it would be classified as Josei instead of Shoujo haha. The ending isn't something I'm happy with but it's pretty much aligned with everyone's personality. I love 90s dramas, no excessive filters, no spotless makeups. Rika's outfits were so cute too.
I couldn't finish it. At ep 6 I already bawled my eyes out and couldn't continue. Waited almost a month to have the guts to finish the whole drama in one go. My face is a mess from crying now.
Eiji's acting is definitely lacking, the story is dragging and ridiculous, would a big hospital just let anyone who has no experience in medical field being their chairman lol? Ryo is the only one who can act among the main characters. And then they put that loud shitty ending song that makes the drama feel like a romcom action drama instead.
I tried so hard reaching ep 8 but I think I'm at my limit. Dropped for now. Anyone else finish it please spoil the ending for me? 🙏
It's getting better I swear, I wonder why people are sleeping on this.
I don't know I thought the first few episodes were great and I was hoping for some sort of development. I just get annoyed at the useless husband and annoying son toward the end. How is this considered good?
Her excuse for not signing the divorce paper was so forced and unnatural.
Is this the one you mean? I just ran Shazam while the video was running.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oBfrAIY6jGU
I think they mean the ending song in English which has the lyrics shown while the track was on. Couldn't find it after a year...
What more can we do?
Floating like a stone up in the air Stillborn a word lies unspoken Secrets of success never shared Though the clocks are wound time is broken Sisyphus lifts love as a gift To lay at the feet of bespoken Loves Hoping someday up on that hill they will take it before it comes down and then they don't he sighs again he tries again he's seen it all but then What more can he do? What more can he do? What more can he do?
I see that everyone is here for the same reason. all I can say is that the rating going down overnight is well…
I started watching it on Viki and saw the rating of the whole drama dropped from 8 something to 6.9 and I knew something was not right with the last episode lol
Extremely disappointed, for sure. Our heart broke along with Makoto’s, but that’s not even the worst thing.…
My boy Makoto deserves better. Anyway, I found it's absolutely out of character for her to go back to her ex-husband's house to hang out. I kept thinking, what was they talking about even if they were tipsy to suggest going home together? And she clearly loved Makoto and the only reason that held her back was that they were both still in their own marriage and it was a wrong thing to do. Now they both divorced and suddenly she doesn't have feelings for him anymore?? Where's that longing look at him the entire 2/3 of the drama gone to? The chemistry was so good, they started from sympathy for each other to getting to know each other's characters better. She had a great arc of character development just to go back to her comfort zone again because it's easier to forgive your cheating husband who neglected and manipulated you than to move forward because he said something about sexless relationship is okay as long as there's love or some bs? Argh I can't stand the ending. It feels like it took the turn because the PD wanted it that way, the last episode just feel so unnatural for me. The whole meetups between the 2 couples were uncalled for I wonder why they keep pushing them to appear friendly with each other.
