Why do you think shoichi told seigo that he was not cut out to play shogi? I cannot rememeber what he said word…
Maybe cause he thought Seigo was too emotional. That he'd be better suited teaching others as a mentor, something Shoichi lacks. As he believes Kishi shouldn't show emotions as it alluded to with others thinking women were too emotional to become Kishi.
I put this off for a long time but when I finally tried it, I couldn't stop. There seemed to be plot holes/plot devices not used but I don't care. Great show.
i rate both versions highly but the japanese adaption is slightly better in my opinion. I just feel like it will be more memorable and rewatchable. The one definite stand out is the husband and then the ml, they were both way more believable in this version.
it was good, my favourite thing about it was the cinematography. its one of those shows where you have to look past some things like standing in a burning building for ages. I didnt like his power at first but It's a cool meaningful idea. Well yeah, if I didnt like the visuals, I really wouldnt like this that much.
I thought the same at first, but I would recommend you to try once again one day. It is actually a very heartwarming…
I completed it finally. It was good for what it is, but it's just definitely not my type of drama at all. I would say the first few episodes were my favourite but after that, not much happened and I didn't really care about any character besides the main 3 characters in the first few episodes then they all lost my attention. 7.5/10, I don't rate anything I do low, if that score seems high for what I've said about it.
I usually watch most of the high rated kdrama's but I just can't with this. The premise seems too boring like Reply 1988 which I didn't finish. I don't mind ones set in the past like Twinkling Watermelon, but that had an interesting plot which this doesn't have from what I can tell.
Can't wait, this was like the 3rd ever Kdrama I watched and I became obsessed with them. Hope this is just as good as the first season with a satisfying ending this time.
Watching Study Group had let me be okay with waiting a while for Weak Hero Class 2 but seriously, it's only a month away now, I thought it'd be october or something. Can't wait.
While watching it, it felt very similar to Save Me 2, and what do you know it's the same screenwriter. I'll be…
And both have a manipulator, felt like saying that would be a spoiler for this show as you can even link that character to the leader of the cult in save me 2. In this he's not really a charismatic leader, but he's smarter and more powerful then the rest so they all listen to him. This could easily be Save Me 3 is what i'm getting at, 2 of the actors from save me 2 are in this as well just like Save Me 2 had two actors from Save Me 1.
While watching it, it felt very similar to Save Me 2, and what do you know it's the same screenwriter. I'll be following what new things she writes from now on cause they're my type of shows. By very similar, they're both rural villages, the village hates the mc, both comes back to the village from prison, and you're not meant to like anyone really except the mc cause these villagers are the worst, despicable and unbearable in both shows.
