i rate both versions highly but the japanese adaption is slightly better in my opinion. I just feel like it will be more memorable and rewatchable. The one definite stand out is the husband and then the ml, they were both way more believable in this version.
it was good, my favourite thing about it was the cinematography. its one of those shows where you have to look past some things like standing in a burning building for ages. I didnt like his power at first but It's a cool meaningful idea. Well yeah, if I didnt like the visuals, I really wouldnt like this that much.
I thought the same at first, but I would recommend you to try once again one day. It is actually a very heartwarming…
I completed it finally. It was good for what it is, but it's just definitely not my type of drama at all. I would say the first few episodes were my favourite but after that, not much happened and I didn't really care about any character besides the main 3 characters in the first few episodes then they all lost my attention. 7.5/10, I don't rate anything I do low, if that score seems high for what I've said about it.
I usually watch most of the high rated kdrama's but I just can't with this. The premise seems too boring like Reply 1988 which I didn't finish. I don't mind ones set in the past like Twinkling Watermelon, but that had an interesting plot which this doesn't have from what I can tell.
Can't wait, this was like the 3rd ever Kdrama I watched and I became obsessed with them. Hope this is just as good as the first season with a satisfying ending this time.
Watching Study Group had let me be okay with waiting a while for Weak Hero Class 2 but seriously, it's only a month away now, I thought it'd be october or something. Can't wait.
While watching it, it felt very similar to Save Me 2, and what do you know it's the same screenwriter. I'll be…
And both have a manipulator, felt like saying that would be a spoiler for this show as you can even link that character to the leader of the cult in save me 2. In this he's not really a charismatic leader, but he's smarter and more powerful then the rest so they all listen to him. This could easily be Save Me 3 is what i'm getting at, 2 of the actors from save me 2 are in this as well just like Save Me 2 had two actors from Save Me 1.
While watching it, it felt very similar to Save Me 2, and what do you know it's the same screenwriter. I'll be following what new things she writes from now on cause they're my type of shows. By very similar, they're both rural villages, the village hates the mc, both comes back to the village from prison, and you're not meant to like anyone really except the mc cause these villagers are the worst, despicable and unbearable in both shows.
This is highly rated? I just marathoned it cause it was suprisingly easy to watch. although from the trailer i watched ages ago it didn't seem like something i'd watch. Very solid series.
Read the first 50 chapters a few years ago, but I don't remember it being this funny. Glad I forgot what mainly happens so it'll be like I go into this series blind. It mentions Hanlim Gym when the MC is training, that's the parent story or something but I liked Study Group way better. Whoever decided to make this first and not Hanlim Gym, thank you.
I thought it was releasing this month. Oh well, Study Group is out this month which is similar to Weak Hero Class so i'm good with waiting. Hopefully it's still early this year and not November or December.
The most popular things always get rated lower then they should cause it gets critqued more. I liked this season, I liked the characters more this season. the old guy who keeps picking O should get more screentime as he's the ringleader of the other side. More Squid Game and Alice in Borderland this year, can't wait
ep 1-9 was good..... But then it gets worse and worse
Lots of shows now are becoming 8, 10 or 12 episodes to avoid this. Shows that are cat and mouse, where people on both sides make dumb decisions to prolong the story will be cut short so they all seem more rational, professional and sane,
I started in 2018 or 2019 with Signal, Children of Nobody, Vagabond, Save Me and others that were similar. It's been very hard to find new shows that have been better then those, only Squid Game, Death's Game, The Glory and Moving have come close plus drama's that aren't korean like Reset and Joy of Life but we aren't talking about those. I feel as if lots of the new shows have obvious tropes so it's not as engaging as i've seen it all before with the shows I started with. For example, the guy that's helping you the most is the main villain you've been chasing or if someone is the son of some contruction company they are the killer or the male and female lead have a shared past that comes to light later in the show, nearly every show is like that , I could go on. Still though, kdrama's are the best, I barely watch american or british shows now since I started kdrama's.
