I agree that the drama has some problematic tropes like Shan Shan forgiving easily and Feng Teng being quite controlling. In today's era that would be all red flagged. But Idk why, I watched it last year and still liked it (problematic 2FL and all lol). I thought she was also harder on Feng Teng than she was on the other girl, she didn't get back with Feng Teng for a while.

that would be a good idea! Reply 1988 and Reply 1994 felt nostalgic and historic to me as a Gen Z adult now. Read my comment again - I never said she didn't suspect. I said it was unbelievable she didn't come to the **conclusion** it was the same person who rescued her several times, eventhough she knew both had superior strength. She also knew both had the same blue marks in the first few episodes itself (way before Ep 7). Yet despite this she didn't fully figure it out until Ep 11, before then she had NO idea at all. Even in Ep 9-10 she still believed it was just a mysterious man in black and that Jin'an must be somewhere else back in the camp.

i think many might see it differentpy. I thought the tone at the end was really optimistic and hopeful. But also realistic, she left her old life behind which meant moving to a new place, having a new place to stay, new friends, new appearance, etc. And after the time skip she was able to reunite with Dong-hoon and plan to meet up just like they planned during the drama.

CL and ZY definitely had more chemistry than CL has with SY. I think ZY is the better actress so that factors in too. I'm also biased towards LOTFG because of the stronger plot and that Dudu was the better character of his.

One thing which seems so unbelievable to me is the FL doesn't put 1 and 1 together to make 2. It takes her over 10 episodes to figure out the man with unnatural level of super strength is also the mysterious man in black with supernatural powers. Especially because she had seen the same blue markings on both, but she doesn't link it at all.

she did have a happy ending in this drama though? even if her grandma died, she lived a new life where she was happy and loved.
