this drama is so underrated it doesn't get talked about enough. I loved how badly down the ML was for FL from the beginning 😭

I just finished Story of Kunning Palace and then came to Fated Hearts, not surprised at all they are by the same director 😭. Several of the supporting cast from SOKP also came in Fated Hearts so I had a little whiplash haha

also Lu Yuxiao. I can tell them apart but they have very similar badass FL style.

I'm on Ep 5 currently and that's what I've been thinking. Then the Emperor married the Prime Minister's daughter and had the 2nd Prince/brother to ML.

she will have 20 years work experience when she turns 18, whilst we do nothing but sit and watch dramas 🤣🤣🤣

I just passed this episode and was thinking the same. For a man who loved his mother so much he could have atleast assured her he wasn't really imprisoned as a rebel. I'm also surprised it didn't occur to FL that his mother would have done the same as in the past life. She's been counting on the new reality as being on the same timeline as the last life, when she should have already predicted that everything is taking place much faster this time round. I think ultimately this was why she felt she couldn't be with him, she had too much guilt over his mother dying both times

IQIYI. Yes the title is a bit confusing because there are many Chinese and Japanese movies/dramas called First Love. As long as you know it's got Wang Xingyue in it then you have this one.

It is how it ends - unfortunately. He goes away because he breaks up with his fiance and due to FL not remembering their past relationship. She had confessed her feelings before he left though. I think he just left Japan to get away from everything and go back to flying planes which he gave up before. The ending is disappointing overall, we just see them back together for a few minutes and that's it. After 9 episodes of slow burn!! 😔

it actually doesn't show her getting married. We just see her get a proposal from the doctor, so it's assumed she would have got married. Then in the same episode she was pregnant, but we don't know exactly how much time has passed between then.

Can't believe how anti-climatic their reunion in the last episode was. The drama is very beautiful throughout, one long lovely slow-burn...but why that ending? it's like they needed one more episode 😬

yes that's basically what happens. They both hide secrets from each other but end up falling for each other during their mission to defeat the bad side. This actually isn't unusual for a Hidden Identity drama.

both him and the actress who played Tianji in Love In The Clouds fr, both give off main lead energy and hopefully they both get chances in the future 🤞

she manifested so hard she ended as his wife instead 🤣🤣

he figures out both in Ep 25. Once he figures out 1 he comes to put the whole puzzle together

a summary of this drama is basically just ML feeling jealous of Ming Xian being the true love of Ming Xian whilst he was really Ming Xian 🤣

on Ep 5 - really enjoying this so far, it starts off really good and apparently it has a great ending. Can't wait ✨️

just because he had a good life later doesn't mean he didn't have trauma. he had selective memory loss and was having nightmares and bad flashbacks which is classed as trauma. They were portraying him as someone who had trauma from what happened to him at age 7.

same here I was only watching it because it was recommended (everywhere) and classed as the best drama of last year or something. I don't think it deserves that title at all though
