...because this is a site for ALL East Asian dramas. As someone else said, if you only want Kdramas then go somewhere that caters for only Kdramas. There's Kdrama groups on social media and also on Reddit, etc.

I don't prefer so language dramas, but I don't go bashing them when I willingly and knowingly became an MDL user.

You just did though, even if you didn't call anyone out by name it doesn't mean you haven't targeted a specific group of people.

And I hate to break it to you but you're only in the minority. Insulting other people's intelligence because they did not like YOUR specific drama is highly immature and out of touch with reality. I'm not personally offended, I don't have enough time for that. I would say if you have to say things like this then it's a you issue too. Again nobody is wrong for disliking a drama, don't insult anyone's intelligence as if there's something wrong with them.

Same in the adult arc they were way more interesting than the main leads, even when having less screen time. Even their 1 minute scenes were great. Like when she covered him with a blanket but he was secretly awake and he smiled so cutely. I smiled as that scene was so cute 🩷

It's fans like you which are supremely annoying. If you loved it then don't hate and verbally insult those who didn't like your fave drama. Nobody is wrong for loving or hating a drama, it just depends what hits each person's flavour and vibe. Do you also insult people who dislike your fave food and say they are wrong? Your fave type of clothes? Remember nothing is as serious as you're making it to be 🙄

This child is so cute and adorable 💙. Saw him back to back in The Heir and The First Jasmine. Didn't realise he was in the The First Frost previously too!

Unsurprisingly the rating has gone down drastically and even all the top reviews are negative. This is already ageing badly as core issues are romanticised very toxicly.

1). that FL was a woman in her mid 30's living in a teenager's body and throwing herself at an actual teenager

2) the terrible misrepresentation of disabled people, people with paralysis or in a wheelchair - most specifically for portraying the FL as only being able to live a fulfilled life when she time travelled and was able to be 'normal' again in a fantasy realm.

Remember there was absolutely no need for any of this if they chose to write this drama better. You can't simply overwrite these major problematic themes just for 'romance.' If I was much younger I might have also been more oblivious, but even a tiny bit of maturity can help massively here.

Oh okay, I feel 24 episodes will be really easy to binge when there's just the last 4 episodes left then. Very convenient :)

Does this mean it will drop all at once bc Netflix og dramas tend to do this. Or it can be released 1 Ep per day (in this case I will wait until it nearly finishes airing to binge)

Oh I just realised as a Netflix original it would do this! Yes how fortunate it's on a Friday, so there is all weekend to binge 😄.

For the cast alone I'll be watching this whilst it's airing. Adding this to my September schedule asap ✅

I'm just a bit ahead of you by a few episodes, I think it seems to be a pyshcological thriller so far mixed in with drama and romance. The theories of what happened on the mountain are all going to be bad, but I like the FL being an unreliable narrator in this regard. It feels unique to me so far

This is because she is currently busy filming another drama and will be for the next few months. It just depends when she is finished with that to move onto this drama. Could be early next year. They won't rush to announce the full confirned cast until likely a few weeks before they start filming. So I wouldn't eagerly wait for any new news for this one for a while yet.

He didn't die. This is effectively an open but happy ending. When it shows him returning to her on the horse it has the pendent clipped onto him, which shows some sense of realism even if the scene is portrayed as quite dreamy.

Besides that there is an epilogue that they filmed which didn't make it into the drama for whatever weird reason. It's on YouTube though. He lives and they go on to have a daughter together. I wish they had another episode and just included this in the drama.

I don't think this happens to the extent where it underplayed her agency and role though. Getting bailed out by the ML doesn't mean she's still not strong and independent. She plots and strategically wins her own revenge.

Actually she didn't know that at all. I think you're overestimating her knowledge of everything. On her side, all she thought was that DFQC was hugely in love with her and stole her away from her home because he must have wanted her. She was ignorant of the heart curse.

She also believed that Cheng Heng was the man she loved, being this hugely attractive and powerful man who she had a nice encounter with some years ago. She isn't aware of everything with his brother. That's why when Dongfang Qingcang shows her how her crush cancelled her exam results from the board, she was shocked and hurt because she **didn't know** it was only Cheng Heng's attempt to protect her.

The irony is she would have stayed in love with Cheng Heng if she didn't get the heart binding curse with DFQC which meant he intervened in her life. So eventually Cheng Heng starts to become less and less of a crush in her eyes in the mortal realm, when she begins to realise her feelings for DFQC.

In my opinion - not really. Yes mai lead chemistry is off, but it's still a fluffy drama, Yang Yang does his best and the side supporting characters and their couples are also great.

No it's not going to come out before September because they still have more promotion or something going on. Another modern drama, The Early Spring, is releasing 26th August so you might have got it mixed up with that one.

It also feels like there's been so many of these type dramas this year. They are really leaning into this one trope all of a sudden

I think you took it the wrong way and can't see the nuance in what I said. Just because someone criticises an actor, doesn't mean they have a bias against them. And just because I pointed something out doesn't mean it's negativity! There was nothing so negative about what I said. Besides there can be many people who make up a drama that we watch for, this is not just solely his drama that you need to tell people off or as his fan dictate that they stay away 😒
