The story is mainly about cooking and the webtoon or manhwa was written before Mr queen so it's not trying to…
Yeah I think that's what I'll do! I'm not really looking forward to next week's episodes since it's still going to be the contest so I'll wait until the last four episodes are out
How fast did it become boring. It's bad enough that they tried to replicate a part of the plot of Mr. Queen to create one whole show (as if it's enough in the first place), the bare minimum would be to put work into actually making a good story out of it.... Idc that it's originaly a web novel, we know where the inspiration came from. 2 episodes for one pressure cooker and 2 rounds of a cooking competition (yes, another one)that nobody cares about. Will all 12 episodes be about proving that she's a great cook? Bc we got it now... 4 episodes left and one of them will also be about the cooking competition, in the end, what's the story?
Finally decided to watch it after 5 years. I'm disappointed the emotional connexion between the king and Bong hwan was not adressed in the end, as if they didn't both fell in love with each other. But well, a popular k-drama like that, I didn't expect much lgbt inclusivity lol. It was still good though, good thing it was on hold, I has nothing to watch lately lol
You didn't even mention Mile and you got fanatics attacking you like you killed their mother lol. They really…
I did but no in a hateful way, I dont have anything against him but his character really isnt as relevant to the story than others and so him being ML make no sense. unfortunately people like to project, they are probably haters of other celebrities and hateful online and think that everyone is. one critic and boom, you're necessarily a hater because that's what they are. fanatism is crazy lol
If you can't see the beauty in Tanwa's character, that's your problem. If you can't relate to or empathize with…
ouuuh you ate that with the "period" lol mind you I only said the character is not relevant enough to be main, chill. Fanatism is crazy, I don't even care about the actors outside of their work, some people here are adults you know ? anyway, you clocked me I guess, I'm a hater, send me to jail
You're just an unhappy hater, Tanwa is a character with unique and with layers. He and Trin have great chemistry.
"hater" or "jealous" as an argument to someome that doesnt share your opinion in 2025 is not only embarssing, its straight up pathetic. guess what, people enjoy things for different reasons than you, shocking!
Coming back here after people were mad last week when I said that Krai and Naran's RS contributed more to the story than Tanwa and Trin's, and that even Victor's RS with Trin was more interesting. If not for Victor, Trin's view wouldn't have changed so much. I stand uncorrected lmao, I was right, Tanwa should not even be a main lead and is only here to bring in the actor's fan, stay mad
That’s why I wish we would have gotten four more episodes. I think four more episodes would have allowed us…
100% agree. It was definitely a choice to end thing where they did. I think they wanted to finish on a bittersweet note with that phone search scene + some closure with that last letter. I usually don't mind open endings, after all maybe they met later on but I agree with you that with this particular drama, a lot was missing in the end. Thats also why I rated it lower than what I wanted.
I think a reunion in 2026 could have been nice. Yu nian should have had the opportunity to tell them about the man that sacrificed his existence so they could be happy. His name was Shen Cheng, he was chubby as a kid and selfless in his love for his mother. Solid acting from everyone involved, this was a gem to watch.
I saw a TT the other day "if you go through that door, your existence will be erased but your mom will have a happy life". Everyone chose to go through with it. However every mother in the comments prayed that their kids would never make that choice, funny right ? The idea of them never ever talking to each other broke me but the sacrifice their children made so they could have the life they wanted broke me even more. Bittersweet ending on my part, though one can argue that since Yi Xun died in the first version of 2026, it's not like Yu Nian lost him in the second version, she still has her memories of him at least.
