If Jang Si Yul is the ML, with the way the story is moving, it feels like it'll need a 2nd season because the pacing is such 4 episodes won't be enough to make him whatever legend he's suppose to become

I feel you, it's like I'm holding my breath and waiting to breath again. I think we have to wait until the very end to understand the big picture of the plot because so far the story is too zoomed in, if that makes sense. It'll either be a hit or a miss.
Murdok, who isn't even the protagonist, has more screen time than the others.
Because the story follows whoever need to be followed for the plot to move forward, it's not your typical kdrama where the focus is put on only the two ML, they're all important I think

My concerns remained, they rushed the ending when it's the most important part of a story, there is a difference between having your whole body move through time vs just your sould so that would mean they travelled differently according to the webtoon. but you know what lets allow it, not showing it is stupid and ruins the ending. idc that more was filmed, the cut was sht and so the ending too. it was too rushed

in Scarlet heart ryeo the king doesn't travel to the futur though, and they cut it because they decided to not do the 2nd season so they didn't want to leave people with more questions as to how the king was in the present time (even though that wasn't him). they could have brought his descendant if anything like they did with th cooks (which also made 0 sense lol) but bringing him with the way they ended it was the worst ending they could have think of

I think they kept it safe with the oppas so that they can do a 180° if necessary. 7 years have passed, they can have them both move on + KYR's brother technically never showed real interest to Jong hui, it's just us in our head lol. You're right, that's what I gathered from the preview too. I can't for the life of me remember which other drama had the same thing, years passed and they were friends and when the 3rd one came back it shook everything up but ultimately he still chose the FML, because they knew each other longer and all. I hope this won't happen so KYR and Jeong Hyeon can end up together T_T
lmaoo the fact that I predicted the exact way the story would go, that's the only way they know how to break a love triangle. Get rid of the third person for a few years, the other two get close in their missing the first person and voilà !
