Not everyone has the same taste. If it’s not for you, quietly leave your review and move on. There’s no need…
Or maybe 100 different people have the same opinion, which is their right, and want to voice it, which is also their right ? I honestly dont understand why someone's opinion on a drama can irritate you so much, it's not like you wrote it. Don't interract with people you disagree with and you'll be better. If you've been responding to everyone who didnt enjoy the drama, I'm sure you must be tired. I suggest you don't engage with people like me in the future because we won't stop voicing our own opinion. I don't know why you expect us to be quiet. freedom of speech.
What's with the rating ? I get that we didn't get a lot of good kdramas lately but it's no reason to rate a boring kdrama this high. Plot is boring, chemistry is lacking, acting is bad on the ML part... please. People will see the rating and think it's good and waste their time for no reason.
Just finished watching episode 5! Park Gyeong Se's backstory with HDM is sooooo RAW! His guilt was eating him up all this time. He was guilty and hated it so he started lashing out on HDM and it was easy to keep doing it because DM fought back. This is so important to the story because DM was presented to us as an annoying bitter man because we only saw him being mean for no reason and it shaped my way of seeing him. I even considered not continue watching this show because of how annoying he was.
This backstory comes at the right time too because we are also seeing a new side of DM's personality, At the beginning we saw him almost thouht PYS' POV and it wasn't until he took his distance with him and started hanging out with someone that liked him that I could see him in a different way. All that negativity definetly impacted my view of him. Sorry idk how to express what I feel very well in english.
I couldn't figure out why his group of "friends" kept him around for so long, turns out they were milking his brain all this time. They had the audacity to look annoyed when he would talk even though all that rambling contributed to their career, what a group of assholes. He's the most interesting out of all of them.
I'm not shocked, Park Hae Young is one hell of a writer, sorry for doubting you.
Is it me or the ending of episode 4 happened a little too early ? or is it that I don't feel the chemistry yet ? bc all I could think about was "why?" it's just that a lof of the cases are being handled in a "realistic" manner (though the writing could defo be better on handling some more sensitive topics) but the timing of that kiss was not realistic at all. he's not a teenager full of hormones, surely he wouldn't just kiss his boss like that, as an audit team member handling PMs, after a few days of knowing her just because "ah, maybe she IS pretty", especially after receiving "evidence" of her having an "affair" at work.... and all in the same episode where an executive harassed his junior employee at work ? Like.... let's be serious for a second
byeon woo seok is a terrible actor omg and the chemistry is inexistant between the leads. At first I thought that him being so stiff was because he's a royal so he has to hide his emotions, but not only is he the only one acting like that, the dialogs contradict that. He's very open about his feelings and emotions, he has no shame to talk about them at all, and to anyone really. Turns out the actor is just really stiff. Whenever he is in a scene with the queen mother, the difference in acting skills is so hard to watch... And no, one scene where he cries is not enough to change my opinion, an actor who's job is to act, should be good at acting in every scenes. Casting a very tall man as a royal to give him credibility will never top casting a charismatic man who can act.
Koo Kyo Hwan is a fantastic actor and I was really looking forward to the mix with Park Hae Young as a screenwriter but I'm not feeling this one. I loved her previous work so so much, but the ML is so hard to like. I love that there is so much substance in his character, usually the characters in kdramas are very surface level , mainly of course because there is a plot that needs to unfold and little time. But man, the writer really made him annoying to me, I'm annoyed to hear him speak T_T
They really don't need to make Changyu the main character in every important execution of a war strategy.... the dam, the rice, the meat and now killing the general.....like it comes to a point. She's strong and I like her but it's getting ridiculous. They've been praising the Marquis' strategies and leadership during wartime for 564886 episodes, and now that he's back in action, dude is always in bed, chill. We've seen her fight, she had her fighting arc, let the man cook !
Lmaooo why is he doing all this ? To teach her that her actions have consequences? That's fair, what she did was beyond stupid and wrong, tf are you doing kidnaping a prisoner of war?
But couldn't he try to teach her that lesson in an other way though? This whole mockery is humiliating for her. I hope she mentions that scene when she finds out he's the Marquis. "So you and your men made a joke out of me with that whole "Lord punish me" when you're the Lord in question?" lol
