Idk about other but I 100% understand that DH feels the way she does and that it's hard on her. She wants to get back together with him so being ignored like she is some stranger, see him go on dates with other women, interact with them while he actively avoids her must hurt a lot. We can even see how whe always tries to find a way to cross his path by lingering in the upstairs "living room". The messages are her only way to commumicate with him since he avoids her but her messaging him also nullify all the efforts he puts into trying to not interact with her. Both of their feelings are valid.
Maybe he uses harsh words because he is frustrated ? Idk, but I get how it's something that can annoy you considering he's been with her for so long.

The point of the show is to meet new people and move on if possible. He broke up with her and wants to move on and she called him to the show. He expects her to at least try to meet new people and she isn't. It's not helping that he still has feelings for her, so to see her not engaging with anyone makes him feels bad and guilty.
All their adult life was spent together so it might be hard for him to engage in casual conversations with her the same way others do with their ex since their history is too long. The others don't see their whole life when they look at their ex. So he keeps his distance and ignores her (also in an attempt to hide the fact that he is her ex?) to try and move on. Or maybe because being in her presence is also very hard for him too. Therefore you can understand how her messages are not welcomed. They affect him.

I don't think there was time, she was still with Kang Tae by 4pm and the girl's night started at 6pm

I assumed he was probably type casted (is it the term?). Don't get me wrong, I like his AK hee, I stated so, but to ALSO have him play a character similar than his previous one is a bit too bad for me. Also I insist on the word similar, I can tell the two characters are not 100% the same haha.
Maybe they wanted two poor opposite characters to show the whole evil spirit thing but you can still have that without having the main be stoic and all. But then again, the character was written that way, I understand the choice.

ah, the evil spirit thing is interesting but the alter ego part was also new and fresh, it's a shame they didn't stick to it. Maybe it's harder on TV to make a couple out of someone who has 2 personality ?

100% agree. I like to follow actors and actress in their project if they are good but some of them keep chosing bad projects so I stopped watching their work. Some always chose good projects so I always dive in and give it a shot.
I noticed that people are focused on the prettiness of the actors mostly if it's a romance kdramas. If the actors are not pretty, they won't believe the love story or won't care. I feel like romance kdramas lovers are fine with the simplest plots because honestly, that's not the most original genre nor the one that gets the best writing. Take Business proposal, many people loved it despite the fact that you have a million kdrama like this one, yet they keep rewatching the same plot over and over again. If the characters are not pretty, they won't bother, they already know the story.
People also watch kdramas to pass the time even if they think it's mid. If on top of that the actors are not pretty, again, they won't bother.

Now if the plot is really good/very original and really well written, people don't care about a pretty face as lead. Those are often not romance kdramas.

Yeah I just watched the beginning of ep2, the whole memory loss is stupid. I know it's his alter ego but she doesn't know that, one would just directly assume they are two different people, no?

Just finished ep1 and the acting is not that enjoyable. PJH is good as Ak Hee but too much like his character in Week class hero as Sajo Hyun, I wished to see more range from him.
The editing is bad, the CGI is horrible, apparently people can jump super high because of course they can fly.
Why didn't FL assume they were twins ? What do you mean "how is he so different".

I haven't watched this one, just came to view the page actually, but kdramas in general don't have the most original plot and scripts so if on top of that the actors are not good looking, people won't bother to watch haha

He was there to protect her this entire time, knowing Bale was still alive, how could he think he wouldn't come after her out of revenge the second he was out of the picture?
I also don't know why Bale took so long to come after Jinman and not even directly at him.
As for the training, he taught her how to shoot but it was late in life that she decided herself to learn how to fight. He didn't really trained her to be at the level to defend herself from Bale and his former team, he just gave her the basics. There is no learning to survive if you're dead.
I love that she's realistically not perfect at it, like you said she's learning on the job. But the danger here is too high for a first time and I lile to believe that Jinman wouldn't put her niece in so much danger considering how much he cares for her.

Moving was good too, My dearest was great for the first part (not surprising since they just copied Gone with the wind), it went downhill on the second part, they lost me at the amnesia trope, I didn't even watch the last two episodes. The rest I haven't seen since it's not my type of dramas and from what I have seen from the plot, they weren't good enough for me to try them haha.
Still no good thrillers though!

The amount of men like Bale we have in the army all over the world. So many psycho join the forces to have a legal right to kill and many even brag about it, crazy.
It's pretty good so far but I have no idea how they are going to end this show. With only 2 episodes left I feel they can only stick to the main trope and we get to see if she survives Bale and his guys or not, no more, no less.

As much as I want Jinman to be alive, it would make no sense for him to put his niece in so much danger just to test her or something. She's lucky she's still alive. Why would he call Pasink to tell him he is no longer in debt?
I know his death is weird because why would Bale agree for him to die like that when he's itching to kill him himself ? Also why didn't Jung Min call Bale to tell him to come take a look at Jinman's body, instead of calling the police? Plus the whole tub scene was just weird, it didn't look like he entered the bathroom a few seconds prior. If you think Bale has your niece, and you know he loves to kill, why would he spare her if you killed yourself ? He wouldn't.

At first I though him listening the recording multiple time was to confirm that it was fake and that she was safe. I thought he might have faked his death to come at Bale by surprise without expecting his niece to be in danger (why wouldn't she be though ??). I thought maybe that was why Bale changed his mind and demanded for Jian to be brought alive. Either he discovered Jinman was alive or he caught Jinman and wanted his niece to die in front of him.
But then why ask Jung Min to kill her ?

Looking forward to see where this goes but like I said, with only 2 episodes left, I don't think we're going with a deeper ending than the original plot of her surviving or dying at the hand of Bale's men.
