Why do writers think that having a character be rich af mean they can do/write whatever they want ? Not 10 minutes in and it's already not credible and ridiculous. Batman did it better but then the budget is not really the same I guess.
Regarding the mouthing of the words its common practice with ASL but it might not be common in KSL. That is something…
Mouthing of words is indeed common in KSL though not as pronounced as other sign languages. People are also very expressive with their face, unlike ML.
This is my third drama where the main actress is in and she really just has one act doesn't she. She plays all of her roles the same way. She has this sloow way of acting. One would think that it's because she takes her time since she also has to sign and she isn't fluent yet and that would be a justifiable way to act like that, except she's like that in other roles too, it's annoying.
Also someone tell main actor that deaf people don't keep their mouth shut in a single line when they sign just because they don't speak. They mouth their words. Not always, but still.
Anyway, I think it's fucked up that sign language is not mandatory in school, there is not reason to collectively accept the idea of not being able to communicate with people from our own country juste because they're deaf.
lmao imagine taking drama classes, going to many auditions, being an extra, trying to make it big, and in the end the leading roles are given to random kpop idols and reality tv candidats who have no experience and half your talent.
The problem about this season is that we had too many participants who were just background noises which made the whole season mostly about Gwan Hee. Waiting for the one couple who never got to go to paradise to finally go was entertaining, but then that's it. Jin Seok and Minyoung are both business owners in two different cities so far away, they were never going to be a real thing and it was a given for them from their first time in Paradise. Except no one was interest in Minyoung and Jin seok was interest in nobody else (except Minjin but she pushed him aside real quick), so of course they were going to choose each other. Gyu ri went with the one guy who came to her because she didn't have any other options but we can tell she wasn't that interested. And the last two guys were just side side side side side characters.
That leaves us with Gwan Hee and his three girls. I don't know how these women kept their cool with all his questions, all his "ifs" and "whats", it pissed me off and it was draining meeeeee. Everytime I would huff and puff and then the panelists would too and I was like "I know, right ?!". Why was he soo tiring like that lol. Maybe the women recognize him and that's why they went after him (I mean, a guy with money, in this economy ? who says no), but realistically who would stick around a guy who is constantly asking for words of affirmation and compliments and just praises in general when you don't even know him for that long ? One that's always asking you to be firm on your feelings for him but never is about his for you ? One who won't accept you being interested in anyone else but he can safely name three women he has his eyes on. One who's allowed to be unsure about his feelings for you but if you are unsure yourself, you're out. Outside of that he looks fun and probably nice to be around but the editing of the show really emphasised the worst he had to offer from my point of view. As a woman it was annoying to see these women run after a guy like that... Especially after they talked about it after the bonfire when he named the three girls he was respectively 33% interested in. I thought "YES ! Let him be, fuck him!". Well that didn't last... lol.
But well, he also has his attributes I guess since I don't even hate him lol. It was entertaining in a way but I wouldn't be able to watch another season like this one honestly haha.
Let's face it, GwanHee is a likable person. No matter how much people don't want to see it
I was not talking about the banter but how he publicaly shows he's into multiple women. that thing he did at the bonfire would have been it for me, therefore, I don't understand how they can still chase after him. my opinion is not up for debate
I'm sorry but gwanhee having two girls after him is beyond me. They literally talked about how he always want to be chased + everytime he speaks with a girl, his questions are always about how they like him and if they want him. He just wants to be praised. I wonder if him being a profesionnal athlete is a deciding factor for these women.
[not a spoiler] how does nobody like habin???? are we seeing the same person as these girls??? plus not only is…
It does't seem like he makes any move and girls don't like that + when they figure out he got cocky (+drunk) because he got 5 candies, it was like a cold shower for them I think
Expecting them to take responsibility for what they did while wiping their memories of Se Eun every time.... is…
That's the whole point, at least for the mother. She's not trying to get justice or get them to own up to their actions, she wants revenge and suffering, period. She said it herself : "forever". As for the other classmates, the problem is that they didn't speak up, they didn't seek an adult's help or even tell her parents. Is it their job? It's debatable, but the mother is blinded by gried and so to her, anyone who doesn't speak up is an accomplice. Bullying in SK is not hidden much and because of that people who don't stand up for the victims are often also blamed by them.
I expected to be disappointed at the explanation of the whole thing but it's actually a good ending. I would have hated had they decided to go with an Alice in borderland type of scenario. Of course it brings new questions about the background of the whole thing, how it came to be and all but better give 0 informations than something too far stretched. At least for the whole set up of the game, if one turn their brain off, the ending is not too bad at all.
its killing people not mosquitoes that they could kill all of them on day 1 - a) psychology b) too many people
doing everything to survive is also basic level common sense. it's a "us or them" type of situation. to not doing from the get go.. well, fine, but after a bit it's not shocking to put all the chances on your side to not DIE
