I stand by me previous comment, this is a Kim Dong hyun hate account.
That pillar game was unfair on women because there was no way they could have win, the men are physical beasts! I mean, thanos ??? They need a season with just women because I'm tired of them just getting the crumbs that men allow them to have when some of them are strong af!
Not people on chinese social media bitchin about the gender swap of the main character in the netflix adaptation lol, people really love to be misogynistic for the fun of it
I mean, sure FL can outsmart Harin in her little school tricks, but she's going after someone really powerful in real life. I don't see how she can win against someone with that much influence and money in the society. Except if her parents find a way to get rid of her, there's no way FL can really win with no damage done to her personal life. That's literally how korean society works, if you have money, you have power and if you don't then you're nothing. Just like FL's dad said, hierarchy is everywhere. And sure conglomerates want to avoid rumors and scandal, but that's not enough to bring them down lol.
First of all, I think your comment should have a spoiler tag...People everywhere be talking about Female lead's…
"are you forgetting it's the director that casted both of them???" No ? But there are bad actors being casted everyday so.... She could have been chosen by the queen of england and it would still not have change the fact that she was bad. You are right when you say that everyone else nailed their characters which again make her stand out so much. She had no facial expressions and little range and it was even more obvious when she was acting with the ML who was so expressive.
But well, to each their own I guess, it's all a matter of taste in the end. Still, there's a reason red sleeve has a higher note and a lot more viewers though.
What's so hard for k-drama writers to put as much effort in their ending as they did in the first episodes ? What was that end ?
I honestly watched it because of ML's acting alone. He was absolutely amazing, either he worked hard or he's just really that talented but he trully impressed me. It made FL's acting almost disrespectful because why would she be that blend when working with that much talent in front of her ?
I honestly could not care less about their love story/relationship, it was blend and they had no chemistry. I don't think the writers did a good job when it comes to their feelings growing for each other, it really just came out of nowhere and the acting of FL didn't help at all. ML was working so hard to make it believable but the writing and FL's acting ruined it. We're nowhere near the red sleeve for exemple. I think it's the first time I've watched a kdrama only because of how excited I was for ONE person's acting lol.
I wished they put more focus in the king's plan to fulfilll his brother's last order, it really only came at the end and they brushed it off by adding some line like "I've been working toward this moment for 3yrs" or "all those things that happened was because you wanted to" like ?? why didn't you show us from the king's perspective ?? I love court politics, I would have enjoyed the show better had they actually show the power struggle between the king and his uncle. They only showed the uncle's plans and work and so his demise came out of nowhere. It only happened because of a snitch but they sold it to us as if the king was actively "working" toward that end for years, like ??? Pick a reason.
This season people actually try to talk and "date" other people and they genuinely enjoy it, that's soo untertaining. I know the production team can't predict in advance if the participants will find someone they will like so it's not their fault but this season we got lucky. However, the men piss me off. They just won't let go of the pretty girl despite her showing 0 interest in them. Maybe her not opening up to them (becauyse again, not interested) allows them to still be curious about her ? But like, our girl doesn't want to let you in, go away. I understand HH sending her a message since they cooked together and he didn't talk to anybody that day but KT and DJ went out with a girl, that's so icky of them to send a message to a girl who doesn't even glance at them instead of their date.
I'm so stupid ! Just rewatched it again and I thought Gu was running away at the end when he packed a bag full of cash but he's just using his own money to replace what was stolen by his friend the gambler lmaooo I always thought "oh, where did he disappear to again" but he didn't go anywhere T_T
the story telling is good, but also weak in some other background.i mean jingman is well knowing seller since…
They are all mercenaries, they go where the money go. Once Jinman died and they thought the shop was closed, they no longer needed to follow the "protection" rule. Babylon put a bounty on her head, they followed the money. They were not protecting her out of loyalty but out of obligation. You want to shop here ? You lend your skills to my niece when she needs it.
