Lmaooo everyone has been saying it. Most watch for the villain including me but really this show is soooo UNSERIOUS…
They don't take much risks, idk if it's in the contracts of the actors/actresses that are main that they will be the final choice in case of a couple because many time people were rootings for SL and even though they were still filming, they never changed the course of the story which is so stupid !
Most of us are watching to see the villain's end story, lol
Yeah I figured now ! A lot of bad kdramas have high ratings so I thought people really enjoyed it, I'm glad it's not the case because that would be so sad to see so many people with bad taste lol

"the writers got scared nobody would ship the villain with the FL" In the year of the "ennemies to lover" ??? That's all people are after nowadays, wtf ? That's was so stupid lool What's crazy is that as long as they cast a really good looking man, everyone will ship FL with him regardless of his role. Idk if you've seen The Glory but nobody shipped FL with ML when FL had crazy chemistry with her ennemy's husband !
Everyone in this comment section are very likely to agree with you.
"the male lead isn't impressive so he got no competition I'm afraid lol" lmaooooo girl, is this a way to treat the ML? The main girl act and sound so stupid, him falling for her would be a charm killer for my part

Lmaoo imagine working hard on a show for people to just skip every scene they can. Y'all got me curious about him now, but usually if you skip everything except one character's story line you end up not understanding much of their storyline anyway, I can't be bothered :/

Looking forward to see the final rating, but knowing MDL, it's still going to be way higher than it probably deserves. Now all of you got me curious about this vilain guy
Everyone in this comment section are very likely to agree with you.
I mean if you skip everything except the vilain's scenes then I guess it's fine because 1h of just bad TV is loooong. But if everyone is watching for him then he must be one hell of a vilain lool
This has to be the dumbest show I've come across in a long time. How are the women just showing their powers in public like that ? They look so ridiculous
Because part 1 was copy of gone with the wind part2 was her work which is avarage xD
I agree, that's why I felt such a disconnection between part 1 and 2. Part 2 is not that bad actually, I like historical dramas and the royal politics are not a bother, but the constant makup and breakup of the main couple is annoying, I don't enjoy them anymore.
Overall I also prefer Part 1. However I think if you have seen writer's other works you will know for sure she…
Someone remarked that Part 1 is essentially gone with the wind and that's why it feels so disconected! That makes so much sense, part 2 is really the writter's own creation. They did a good job with part 1 though. "For a historical drama that is crazy" Now that you say it, it's true that though normal dramas tend to film till the last week, historical dramas usually finish way before airing ! Maybe we'll know more in the next few weeks, there has to be some drama behind the scene lol

I'll take your word for it haha, I honestly haven't seen her previous work. She might have strayed from her usual writing in part 1 then because I really feel a disconnect. I don't mind the politics though, honestly I enjoy it more than their relationships

I don't mind the historical events, I love political dramas. What bothers me is the way in one episode they get together and then at the end of it they're apart and it goes on and on and on. It's annoying. It's repetitive, it's lazy.
The longing and "impossible love" in part 1 was great, very well written and executed, having their pride and personalities be in the way of "them". They dragged it for too long in part 2 though, throwing crazy events to keep them apart from each other just for the sake of it. Maybe because they didn't know what to do once they got together ? Idk, the writers got lazy, I don't feel like watching something written by the same person in part 1. Part 1 was good, Part 2 is average, the quality dropped significantly as far as I'm concerned.
That's on them. Spoilers for released episodes of part 2 is fair, but for part 1 it's useless. No one here expects people to not have seen part 1, it's literally a must to have seen part 1 to be in the part 2 section, and if there are people who haven't then that's their problem really.
