Jo being the criminal was a bad move, his being in love with Do-ha was even worse. I thought it'd be more complicated,…
thanks for the spoiler, glad I dropped it, idk how they brought the revelation but from my memories of him in the first few episodes it makes 0 sense. He looked loving towards his wife and kids and not at all as someone who was in love with his best friend and shouldering a huge secret like that.
I mean, you hang out with bullies and even laugh when they bully people but you never actively bullied anyone? That's like a really weak defense argument lol
I’m on episode two and so far I’ve rolled my eyes at:-The FL being in a convenience store, seeing there’s…
They don't care for good writing, they want somethig to happen, they'll make it happen even if the in between is dumb af because nobody criticize bad writing lool I mean, have you seen the number of +8 ratings dumb shows on this website ?

"In the last few dozen modern dramas I've seen, FL has had to flip over and fall for ML to save her, or flip over so she can fall right into ML's arms." Ah welcome to romance kdramas lol, you'll find that the plot is literally always always always the same. One might think that redoing something over and over again gets tiring but people still watch it in SK so the studios keep puting money into this plots. It's safe, it's risk free. If you watch the red sleeve, this scene you are describing will come to your mind at some point but in a good way if I may say without spoiling too much. This kdramas doesn't turn "being in love" in an insult unlike many kdramas where you're like "aren't you ashamed to be this way for a man?"
"Why spread and perpetuate such an image - an illogical and clumsy woman who, left to herself, will probably die of stupidity - in her country and show such an image of a Korean/Chinese woman to the whole world?" I'm not korean myself but from what I have heard from many korean and foreign women living in Korea, men are very misogynistic and actually the total contrary of what you see in Kdramas. Maybe they like stories in which a woman can be vulnerable without it being used against them? I have no idea why these type of kdramas work so well honestly because I don't really enjoyt them. I assume for the same reason romance novel do : it allows you to dream about the perfect man that you know you will never meet in real life ?
In any way, I agree with you, if studios could put money into dramas that are written better, that would be great. I find that thrillers is the genre where you have the most well written kdramas so far (based on what I saw of course).

I tend to stay away from romance kdramas because they are not of my taste so I have little recommandations myself but I really enjoyed "My Liberation Notes", it was mature and very nostalgic in a way, very conforting. "The Red sleeve" was also good by my standards because of how the female lead was written. I thoroughly enjoyed the fact thatshe stayed true to herself and her convictions until the very end, despite the king's pressure and love. "Mr. Sunshine" is a true gem if you give it time. I'll add that if you watch My liberation note and enjoy it, you should absolutely watch My Mister by the same writter.

Honestly these are the kind of dramas where you either turn off your brain, which is practically impossible, or don't watch it at all because people never have a problem with how dumb the writing is, which means it never improves. It's always the same thing with romance drama. One might think that they are popular because well written but it's the contrary. There are only a couple really well written romance kdramas out there with smart female lead but that's about it. If shows that are not well written are not for you, girl don't waste your time on this, you'll just end up frustrated.
I assume that her ears ringed because he truly believes he killed her meaning that to him, saying "I didn't kill her" is actually a lie. How predictible if that's the case.... I hope the mystery doesn't revolve around that quiproquo or her solving his case for him because homegirl can detect lies, because how disapointing would that be. It's 2023, can't we have kdramas with better plot twists ?
It would be silly if everyone forgets her too. This is not time travel - it's just one person's memory. It would…
It would to me, it's a fantasy, you can create whatever rules you want. Remembering past lives already doesn't make sense. In any case, an ending where they don't ever see each other again is a better ending than the one we got.

it could have since she told them about her previous lives. They could say that anyone who know about her previous lives also forgets about them. Since she forgot meeting them, they could also forget meeting her.
Well that was a disapointing ending. All that time wasted on telling us that she can't be in contact with them then that she has to forget them, all for this ? I thought everyone would forget her too and then her and seo ha would pass by each other. I would have enjoy a version where they didn't stop or bump into each other, living a life without one another, because not everything is meant to be and they were only together because of her past memories anyway. It's not the happy ending that people would want for the couple but it would still be a better ending than what they gave us. Hot or not, someone who comes at you as hard as seo ha did in the end is an ick, it makes no sense that she's not freaked out. For me, it's lazy writting for the sole purpose of a happy ending for the couple. It also seems like Kang min ki was stuck in this life because of her, no? What happend to him?
this drama will have a sad endingI think whoever she revealed herself to, would suffer bad fate.look at her niece…
I thought the same as you. He is her past enemy and swore to come back to take revenge and that's why she keeps remembering her past lives. And since she can't be in contact with people from her past life, they can't end up together... except if they show up with something like "oh she forgives him, her soul can finally heal, this is her last life remembering, therefore the sickness thing disappears"
I'll trust the comment and not watch it
