Well she didn't check on her niece in her 18th life at all. It makes you wonder why she wouldn't despite being…
She died when her niece was a child, she even apologized for leaving her be on her own, I would assume she would try to find her as soon as possible in the next life but she didn't. Instead 2 lifes went by and she only reconnected with her niece because she needed her to see a boy she saw for one year
"But what is kinda ridiculous is how this 100+ year old person, who lived through so many revolutions and advances…
+1 Why would she feel this huge need to spend her 19th life working her way up to be close to this kid she was with for like a year but not seek her niece before whom she also had a duty to.
completely random thought . but if she’s lived so many lives and went past the age of 20 in multiple of them…
Well she didn't check on her niece in her 18th life at all. It makes you wonder why she wouldn't despite being related to her but would go through so much lenght to be in the life of this one young boy she knew for like a year
Some of these comments are weird... it's a fictional show based on a fictional story. It's made to enjoy and to…
People have expectations on what they see as entertainment. If you can watch something without seeing any flaws to it then good for you, but others who can't also have a right to point it out, that's why the comment section is here :)
I agree that the boy in this drama isn't interesting enough to make us believe that he has impact on her more…
You might be right but then they should show it like that. It might just be me but I feel no depth to her character despite her incredible life story. She might as well have lived just one life before this one and it'll be the same. All she takes from her previous life are skills and that's it. Where is the regret ? Where is the longing ? Where is the guilt ? All I see is a girl growing up to work with her childhood crush. I just don't see "how" he is important to her other than "he used to be the boy I played with in my previous life". How is he more important than her niece for exemple, that she didn't even try to seek in her 18th life.
It wasn't like they lost contact, though. He had a very traumatic experience and witnessed her being killed. And…
That's not wrong, but I wish they would give her more depth then and show us that. Show us that she feels indebted, she feels like she needs to take care of him or something. Right now it's just looks like a childhood crush that she is pursuing. Living for so long, you'd think that apart from her skills she would actually be "more" than just what we were given so far. Also, why him ? Like, in her previous life she didn't seek her niece for exemple, but in this life, the first thing she does when she remembers is trying to find him? Didn't she have a duty toward her too?
The idea is really good but it was not well exploited.
I did not read the webtoon so this is just based on ep1&2 The whole chasing someone from your previous life in the next one, I can understand. Homegirl is tired of living, this is how she finds purpose I guess. But chasing this particular child ? No.
You won't make me believe that a 10+ times adult (in a young girl's body) can actually have fun with a child as if she was one herself after living all the lives she had. Also, enjoying so much being around a littke kid when you're a grown adult is weird, idc.
Maybe he could have said something like "I'll recognize you in our next life, I promise" and then she can think "oh well, it's technically still the same life for him, will he recognize me, I wonder and I'm bored of living so, hey why not check and freak him out ?" But doing all that just to be close to him again because she had "fun" for like a year in her previous life ? no The level of attachement she has for him knowing her past, I'm just not buying and I find it icky.
Now, if there is an actual real and believable reason as to why she likes him so much, I think it would be best to let us know as soon as possible, otherwise it's hard to get into the story and understand her actions (hoping he's not her past lover's reincarnation, that would be too obvious).
loved the cinematography and music and the overall fantasy vibes. Not being hateful but everyone probably got…
"But what is kinda ridiculous is how this 100+ year old person, who lived through so many revolutions and advances (also somehow only in Korea), only felt like living after seeing a random younger kid. Will this be expanded on and explained in the future episodes maybe?'
100% what bothers me with this plot. Like, the kid was not even that interesting on their first meet but this is the most fun she had in a long time ? A literal adult in a little girl's body ? How do you actually feel 12 after living so many lives ? I feel like we'll have to forget logic and reason with this one
that's such an odd recommendation ahah, they have 0 correlation
both main are anti hero and the vibe is similar enough I feel ? like kind of dark criminal thriller, idk haha I see a lot of people who liked one liked the other
I can't help but notice that recently, K-dramas have been tackling different kinds of child abuse.I wonder if…
"I hope other countries do the same instead of just trying to make money." That's exaclt WHY there are more and more k-dramas about child abuse though: money. Usually Kdramas try to portray life in a better way than it really is in SK and when studios saw that bullying (which is a huge huge probleme in SK) and particulary revenge of bullying was bringing numbers, then they started ordering more and more shows/episodes about it. If it was not selling, they wouldn't talk about it, trust me, it's a business, they are not here to lose money just to raise awarness. Since those plots brings a bit of justice to characters that a lot of people can identify to, a lot of people are watching.
my only take, i hope theyll exclude the group quest and focused on individual quests only if there’s a next…
The mythology quest was meant to have people get a choice into doing something they might be good at and a lot of them did. It was suppose to make it fair.
some of the finalists didn’t get that much screentime unlike the others even before the show started, they could’ve…
They used faces that they knew would get people hooked enough to keep watching week after week. Maybe they didn't have enough interesting footages of the last three.
