I'll ignore the plot holes for it was only 16 episodes and the story and acting was so good that I don't mind them. I loved all of the leads (including Sun Ah who was an amazing antagonist to Yo han) and cherished Yo han and Ga on's bromance so much! I'll take a relationship like theirs over any romantic ones. The chemistry between the two actors was through the roof. The ending was very good but I wanted them to somehow go back to living together, Gaon is all alone now and it breaks my heart. Yohan dying would have make a really great ending but I think the writer took pity on Gaon lol + they did a great job showing us how Yo han always has a backup plan throughout the show so at least we can't say that him not dying is just plot armor.
What an amazing journey, I'm so glad I gave this show a try, easily one of the best show of the year.

Also I just learned that Park Jin Young is an idol and I would never have guessed, he's such a good actor wtf!

Maybe because they thought it was leaving an opening for a 2nd season and they didn't plan on having one? apparently when the drama aired the ratings weren't that great, it was (if I'm not mistaken) airing at the same time as park bo gum's historical drama (that I personally didn't like) and since it was his first drama after reply 1988, people watched it instead of SHR

basically at the end, present wang so gave hae soo a tissue when she was crying (following the chinese drama plot that lead to the second season) but it was deleted in the korean version, we only know about it because IU posted the 2 pictures on insta when she thought it was going to air lmao

Before I watched it the first time, I was reading that most people were disappointed that the husband was not who they wanted. After a couple of episodes, I realised I wanted the husband to be Taek and really thought everyone did, so I fully watched it expecting the husband to be Jung Hwan, missing all the clues lmao. Well it was a pleasant surprise to see my ship sail when I deadass thought it was sinking.
I'm rewatching the drama and felt like sharing that funny story :)

We watched the show....we understood the plot don't worry... It doesn't change the fact that we don't see the chemistry between both leads. IMO the writting of the ML is not it, they could've kept the same story but still make him more interesting.

dude really said "I can only give up if the guy you date is out of my league" no??? you give up because she said she is not interested, stop ! He's annoying, he's like a leech, though a lot of the time, the plot just make him be at the right place at the right time. Like him being always around is not the problem, it's really the whole "I won't give up even though you never said you were interested in me and honestly idc because only my feelings matter"

they went with the cute clueless in love ML, a bit like the ML from crash landing on you. It's annoying especially considering his "age". He seems immature. Idk if they did it to make him cute and have us love him or if it's because they didn't want us to be weird out by the age gap. Either way they're off together

I personally don't feel the main leads relationship and maybe other people who feel like me ended up shiping Dam with Sun woo? idk lol
maybe because they're close of age, they make more sense? no matter why they do, he is still someone that keeps putting dam in a difficult position because he can't accept that she's not into him. I don't really like the way they try to make us have sympathy for him (there were times when even I was feeling sorry for him), it sends a wrong message, he's pushy and doesn't respect her decision and her limits.

I'm at episode 12 but Sun woo really said "imma be the annoying clingy dude that don't let the girl breathe"

Sure, no problems ! Just note that the shortest one on the list are flower of evil and extracurricular (16 episodes) and if you start with FOE you'll be able to watch scarlet heart ryeo knowing both mains haha

A masterpiece, anyone will agree. It's long and not easy to watch for everybody but it will scar you.

Yep, you won't be able to watch the average kdrama now, you started too high haha
But don't worry, even if there aren't many, here's a little list of "must see" kdramas that are as good as this one : mr.sunshine, reply 1988, flower of evil, extracurricular, scarlet heart ryeo (with the same main actress)
none of these are the same but they will leave you as drained as my mister, and depending on which you'll like the most you'll be able to see what kind of kdrama you're into :)
