I wouldn't be able to say about the entire country but yeah in Paris and its region people always make sure be well dressed when they go out, even if it's to run and errand or something. It's funny because every french student who go in the US in an exchange program always come back saying the same thing "people in the US go to uni in their pyjamas ?? and they always wear sweat pants ??' ans it's so funny because american student say the same thing about us "why do you guys always look so fresh at 8 in the morning, like ??"
I think it's because we are too self aware, it's a bit sad....

The male lead is a bit an anti hero so there is no vilain in this one . I don't know how to explain but in each situation de characters face it's up to you to decide who's right or wrong. And female lead is a very strong and independant woman, I love her so much, even is she sheems naive she knows what she wants and male lead is a bit of a machist (you know how men are in eastern societies) and they learn to adapt to the other. I don't know, this drama is very well written and quite realistic, love it hehe

I'm from France, Paris. There is a certain aspect of east asian fashion that I enjoy myself like high plateform sneakers (exemple https://tinyurl.com/sneakers93) since we wear them too here but I feel like people maybe wear them more in korea (or in east asia in general?). And I also gave in to the oversized sweaters since I started watching Kdramas, they looked so comfy that I had to buy some to try aha !

I know nothing about asian fashion i'm not gonna lie aha ! I don't watch japanese dramas yet but I'm trying to make myself a list to start ! I don't mind japanese but I can't with the thai langugage T_T
Anyway that's so interesting that the drama fashion matches the one from the people, I wondered but never got an answer on that! I never understood the enthousiasm that some east asian tourists have with our street fashion when they come to my country. If that's how they really dress then I understand better since it's a completely different fashion culture !

If you love realistic and mature love stories that are not cheesy you should give Dogdugun Ev Kaderindir a try. It's about an arranged marriage but it's not forced. It's dubbed in english but the translation is off sometimes because they translate literally but you can understand the meaning of the sentence most of the time. Better if it's dubbed in your language !

Unfortunately we rely on other people translating turkish dramas for us... If people don't translate them we can't see them. There are people who also translate episodes on Facebook, so if I can't find them on those websites sometimes I find them there. I look for french subtitles if eng aren't available anywhere. Regarding dramas on YT, because of copyrights, a LOT of YT accounts have been closed for posting subbed episodes :/
Sometimes it available on YT but not in my country so I use a free VPN, but seriously, sometimes it feels like going to war is easier than finding subtitles for a specific turkish drama

I swear I don't understand the fashion in kdramas...I don't know if korean women dress like that IRL but it's so old fashion. I can't with the lace dresses anymore. Especially the heels! I'm always surprised with the choices they make regarding heels, they always pick childish heels. Square small heels or heels with a fluffy thing in the front. I don't know how to explain it. I love high pointed toe heels on women, it's so elegant and graceful. And yeah, turkish dramas really give the best wardrobe, I always dwell over them!

I watched Özge gürel and can yaman's first show together, like the one where she is a private cook right ? I really didn't like it, the story was too cheesy and cringy so I dropped it lol
I tried to give bay yanlis a try but same, I didn't click.
I watched erkenci kus with can yaman though. It was cheesy but the story and the suspens was interesting enough for me to keep watching. Actually the actress of erkanci kus is the same one from the one I'm currently watching and her male co star is the one from siyah beyaz ask. The industry is quite small so you find a lot of people that you already know working together or actors working with the same people on multiple dramas, it's funny. Like in Even the houses are the same from one show to another.

I haven't watch that many turkish drama from start to end to be honest, they are sometimes too long and they drag the story too much and the love story is sometimes too cheesy that I'd rather drop it because it annoys me. So I watched a lot but dropped most of them. I was into turkish dramas before kdramas so when I discovered that kdramas only had 16 episodes I decided to give it a try and here I am haha !

I finished 2 dramas too (siyah beyaz aşk is one of them, I really enjoy the first part) and dropped a lot unfortunatly. I could get through some of them if they weren't as long as they are but some have like 40 episodes, ain't nobody got time for that.
I'm currently watching dogdugun ev kaderindir, it's very mature and so interesting and the two lead have great chemistry

Yeah turkish dramas can be too much too imo. And them lasting 2+hours don't help, I dropped a lot. The cringe is sometimes unbearable for me.

Moon Ga Young gave me major SLS in tempted, she was soooo good and her chemistry with lead actor was through the roof. I literally had to stop watching the drama because of how SLS and how bad joy's character was (and her acting). That would have been a great show had the main couple been moon ga young's character and ML
