Yeah, I mean sometimes it's fine you know, like if the possibility of them being so smart that you can actually believe that it could have worked. But in their case ? They would have been lasered down anyway, they were too fresh in the game for me to believe that Arisu could outsmart the game master

lmao I think I would have dropped it had he find a way to save them. I hate it when there are rules and for some reasons they don't apply to the heroes
Lmao .. its because those people didnt had a character development in the series . It was more like a mass slaughter.…
Yeah, I didn't really care that they died, but they really died because the game was set like that, they used one man's emotions to slaughter them all, it was free death at this point. That's why 10 > 7 at the end.
Ikr, this drama has so much problem to be in the 8 ratings area, their verified rating 7.6 is more appropriate…
Ohh I didn't know that, thanks ! Yeah 7.6 is pretty accurate. I rated it 1 for the joke but honestly the writing doesn't better that much more than that
You want to know something interesting? 5 of Suzy's dramas all went up by .2 - .3 points. Coincidence? Maybe...NJH's…
I guess if someones enjoys the dramas that the majority of people enjoy then yes ratings can be very helpful.
The FACT that people talked about goblin like one of the best drama ever and I sat through all of it cringing the entire time.... I don't mind the age gap, like, he's centuries old, she's always going to be a baby no matter how old she is. But she was a 19yo acting like a 15 YO the ENTIRE time, all I could see was an old dude falling for a child, that just didn't sit right in my mind!
Hey you!Ended up watching the first 4 episode today because I heard there was a cameo of the extraordinary you…
At least for ramadan everyone fast, not just the women for the sake of their husband lol
"those freedom just stays inside the constitution..." you mean it's in the law but in real life it doesn't apply?
" india has laws that stops companies from firing women just because of pregnancy" you know what ? in my country when you are interviewed for a job, it is illegal but some HR will ask you about your marital status to know if you are likely to have a kid or not if because pregnancy leaves are a bother to them. So they want to know ahead so that they don't hire you. I dream of the day women will protest worldwide. Since they want to discriminate us for having a uterus, no sex, no children, no reproduction, fuck y'all.
"Nowadays even private companies allow paternity leaves as well so even men can look after the child" that's really the bare minimum but 2020 and it's still a fight for most countries. In the nothern part of europe the paternity leave can be up to 23 WEEKS LOL. They are so ahead I swear !
almost all the drama ratings increased...until 2 days ago the highest rated drama was iotnbo with 8.9 rating now…
The fact that it was stuck at 7.9 seemed weird to me anyway. I think that's the correct ratings. Start-up is defo the kind of drama that people enjoy after a binge watch; I'm not really surprised by the ratings honestly

The thing is, it's a matter of tast and some people don't have any lol. No but seriously, it is a matter of taste and some people enjoy things you can't bare to watch and absolutely hate what you enjoy.
That's why the ratings of a k-drama has no longer any influence in my decision to watch it. I started kdramas with the popular ones, the ones with the highest ratings and didn't enjoy them as much as the others did. I've only been into kdramas for a few month but I'm only starting NOW to find the type of kdramas I enjoy. I know too well that most people watching k-dramas enjoy cheesy (teen) romcom and it's not necessarily my cup of tea. Take My ID is gangnam beauty for exemple. The worst korean production I've seen, it was sooooo bad, and yet look at the ratings. IOTNBO was not a bad drama, but it was absolutely not the drama of the year for me and yet it's one of the highest rated drama here. There are dramas that are 100 times better but are not as popular because the genre of the drama is not as popular.
I trust american tv shows ratings because I feel like people have high expectations when it comes to american tv shows because they have more episodes, but for kdramas, as long as the mains are pretty/handsome and they end up together at the end of the 16th and last episode, people will be satisfied.

lmao wat? honestly the line between religion and tradition/culture is so blurred in some countries. men use religion to justify cultural misogyny, acting like it's in the holy books, it's God's will. Then when women demand better treatment they're called disbeliever or something. It happens in my home country all the time

I see, thanks ! I knew about the younger/elders thing but didn't understand when it came to women. Yeah it's mostly to the king's feet or at least the ruler

Adding them to my list thanks !
Like I said I've watched indian movies before but mostly historical ones. I do have a question if you don't mind. I've seen multiple times in movies women trying to bow to touch a man's feet before he stops her, I never understood the meaning of both their reactions.

I know that a lot of kpop idols don't have a choice regarding their outfit and are forced to wear short outfit (we know for who's satisfaction...) but then at the same time, they have to cover. It doesn't make sense, it just gives men the opportunity to cover them or something, I don't know it's weird..
Do you have maybe a list of indian movies showing women empowerment that I could watch ? I love indian movies but I found myself mostly looking at historical movies, I just love them so much!

They have a way of portraying the control that men want to have over "their" women as something "cute". It's annoying af! But from what I've read, South Korea is a very patriarchal society where misogyny is really really normalized. For exemple I hate it when a man takes the sole initiative to cover the thighs of a woman wearing a short outfit. It's not up to you to decide whether she should cover herself or not. If she's uncomfortable she'll do it herself. This paternalism that is seen as "cute" really annoys me. And it's not just the boyfriends like it's ANY men really. I see it sometimes in interviews. But men love the position they have in south korea, and anything that will disturb the order of things for them is evil, look at how feminism is very badly seen in South Korea.

8.1 ? really ?
