Here too some wigs are bad :)) and one can easy recognize it. Totally agree with you: I also think it's not necessary…
I thought the wigs were alright, I've deffo seen worse wigs😂 . Yeah and I agree with you as well, I think people need to have some patience they've only released 5 eps, they are not going to show the whole plot in only 5 episodes. And with the use of flashbacks it was quite clear to me what's going on . Yeah and Zhuge Yue will deffo come back to life he's literally the main lead 😂
Another Six of Crows fan!!! I love that duology to bits! I did start the original trilogy but the first part in…
Its been a while since I read Crooked Kingdom but it was sort of a happy ending. I know Inej left but she went to do what she wanted to do, and Kaz gave her boats as well. I didn't care about Mathias loll
I just finished episode 1. I’ve never seen Princess Agents either (and I have no plans to), but I really enjoyed it. This is a 40-episode drama, and having watched a lot of historical dramas and even reading fantasy novels, I’m used to being thrown in at the deep end and having to piece together the plot like a puzzle. I’m so intrigued. I love the cinematography, the soundtrack, the colour grading, and the overall atmosphere. I’ve never watched a drama like this before. It really feels like it’s going to be epic and grand in scale.
In my opinion, I don’t think you need to watch Princess Agents. I know some people are insisting on it, but I don’t think it’s necessary. It doesn’t help that Princess Agents is 58 episodes, unfinished, and has bad wigs 😅
The best way I can compare it is to the Grishaverse. In the Grishaverse series by Leigh Bardugo, there’s a series called Six of Crows. It’s her most popular series, and it’s an incredible duology. You can read Six of Crows without reading any of the other books. Some people recommend reading the original trilogy because you get the backstory and more worldbuilding, but you don’t need to. I didn’t, and it’s now one of my favourite book duologies ever.
I think it’s the same for Princess Agents. Of course, watching the original series will give you extensive background knowledge for Rebirth, but if you choose not to, it’s not that big of a deal, especially because flashbacks are included.
I think if Princess Agents had higher production value, I’d be more inclined to check it out, but alas…
Ngl I have no plans ever to watch Princess Agents, I'm going to try and watch the first few eps if it makes no sense at all I'll let you guys now (I also havnt read a summary of Princess agents so I dont know the plot)
I love that China seems to be embracing shorter episode series more. People seem to mostly be split on whether…
I like having lots of episodes though its what makes cdramas unique to me. I'm also a slow watcher so I like having a drama I'm watching for months on end because you can really get immersed in the world and characters.
