OMG YOU SHOULD'VE TOLD ME YOU WERE GOING TO AAHHHH HAVE FUN!!!!! TELL ME YOUR THOUGHTS WHEN YOU START!!!!
Ofc i will! I have one ep left of Under the Queen's Umbrella and i was debating on whether to watch Novoland Pearl Eclipse or The Untamed. And i decided to pick this drama because I think I'm craving bromance rnðŸ¤
Recommended or not? The rating keep droping . Im interested at first because the cgi very beautiful.
It really depends on the type of person you are and exactly what it is that you're looking for in shows. I don't mind watching a show solely for the aesthetic. Whispers of Fate had absolutely stunning costumes, gorgeous scenery and a beautiful OST. The show has no romance imo (so if you're a romance watcher I wouldn't reccomend it) the plot is both simple and complex at the same time, and there were quite a few episodes where I geniunely wondered what was even happening. However I have to applaud how ambitious this show is in terms of epicness and scale, and I know for a fact there are loads of plot nuances that went over my head since I'm not knowledgeable about certain themes that propped up in the show. So its a show I greatly appreciated but I'm not sure if I enjoyed it, and I think I spent a lot of time waiting for the show to get "really good" or even to click with me, and it never really did, but I think that's okay. A show I'd reccomend that I personally think is perfect is Joy of Life 1&2 and Goodbye My Princess (which has some triggering themes). But overall I think there are better dramas to watch, but if you are someone that is dazzled by aesthetics and imagery, you will enjoy this. And the fact that I was able to watch all 40 eps shows that there is something very unique and enticing about this show and the character of Tang Lici will definitely stay with me. It is not your average drama and if you're willing to appreciate that, I think you should give it a watch.
Did ryang eum like hyun romantically, I don't understand his feelings
Yes he did like him romantically, thats why he hated Gilchae sm and ruined their relationship. It was also mentioned explicitly towards the end that Ryangeum had feelings of love towards Hyun i need to find the time stamp again but I remember being shocked that they actually addressed it plainly.
I think the Koreans and the Chinese really excel with drama OSTs. So many are so beautiful, with the Chinese really…
I love a lot of the same as you! Whispers of fate is amazing! My favourite song from the ost is "From Now on" i also love Guardians of the Dafeng, especially "I am an ordinaryperson " and The Untamed theme song. Fangs of Fortune is probably my all time fave too (return after long dream is my fave). I like anime as well, the apothecary diaries is acc my fave! A The instrumental songs are so good. Thats so cool that you were a radio DJ! It would be cool to listen to a radio for Asian drama osts!! For ones you didnt mention that I love, Goodbye My Princess "Love Catastrophe" is such a beautiful song, as well as The Blue Whisper OST and the instrumental OST for The Red Sleeve (the songs are incredible.) I also love "With My Heart" from My Dearest. And "River Flower" from My Country the New Age. For a modern drama I like "When the nightmares started" from the drama while you were sleeping. For anime I love "Wistoria Wand and Sword" theme not the actual theme song but the instrumental from the ost. And "special existence" from Nina the Starry Bride! I prefer OSTs from historical dramas the most 🌸
I loved the FL in Goodbye My Princess! But tbh the plot for this one sounds vague and convoluted...I might wait for all the episodes to drop, has anyone read the novel? Have you enjoyed it?
