It already picked up a few times (for example, there was a lot of tension around Nihuang selecting a husband),…
"I watched a one-scene of JoL when the ML tried to talk someone to death, and knew it's not for me." I was talking about JoL that I didn't remember that scene. I'm now on ep 14 of NiF. I just feel like there are so many conversations and then an event happens its for like 1 minute and then its back to conversations. I did hear from ep 20 it picks up so I will try the drama again when I have nothing to watch
Just started ep 31, he divorced her ðŸ˜there are tears in my eyes rn wtf, not even an arc where they ignore each other for abit, straight to divorce ðŸ˜
"i cant appreciate your mother's struggles on behalf of those people "-genuinely what does Prince Ding mean by this? I'm really struggling to understand. Ye Li's mother had the edict and she had every intention of producing that edict to save the ML's brother, but she was thwarted by the Ye family who were scared of Marquis Muyang and subsequently the Empress Dowager. So much so that Ye Li's mother lost her life because of it! She has already paid the price for her mistake! Why is he mad at her, how could it be Ye Li's fault, oh my dazeeeeeee. Like I get him being slightly off kilter about all the events don't get me wrong, but to blame Ye Li for it makes no sense! And also I understand Ye Li is hiding a lot from him, but he should know by now that she is not mentally well, he cannot judge her to the standard of someone with a reasonable mind, that is not fair. Also I was disgusted how he brought up the 30,000 people dying, as if its Ye Li's fault, the catastrophe that happened back then is a culmination of many different events, one person doesn't shoulder the blame for everything that happened. And its certainly not Ye Li. I know they'll make up in some absurdly cruel way, but after this, I'm sorry, but I just cannot ship them. I know its not very romantic but not every drama has to end with the leads ending up together (and I don't mean with one of them dying tragically) but both leads deciding to amicably part ways. I think there is too much distressing history between them tbh.
I agree. I think the ML is doing well; FL is okay. But when together. while I feel the caring I don't feel the…
Duke Su is on another level tbf. The only ML that I think matches Duke Su is Fan Xian, and Fan Xian had more chemistry with random women than he did his own wife
I don't think Ye Li's mother intentionally cheated them out of the edict, wasn't it stolen by her family anyways? I'm not sure why Mo Xiaoyao would be angry at Ye Li specifically
