I actually do not think the age gap is the problem here. the real problem is we already too familiar with the…
It’s not the case for me. It’s like what a comment said below. Different stage of life.
20 —32
30 —42 (edit: this is acceptable since similar stage of life)
Honestly which one do you think will most likely have a more mature relationship? Age matters and life of stage matters. Obviously there is exceptions and it works out for some people in real life, but it’s rare. In college, most people date other college students and not working professionals unless they met each other in college first.
I just watched new 5 minute trailer. I’m not wowed but I will still check it out because of the leads especially JCW. I liked and disliked projects from both but liked them overall enough to check it out.
From the trailer I think the leads have chemistry but more of siblings (brother-sister) chemistry rather than romance.
Also what’s with the Jamaican dude? He’s not funny and giving me the creeps when he said, “I’m korean.” Well okay, then why are you wearing a Halloween costume?
I abhorred slapstick comedy and it seems they are playing it up.
So they met each other while she was still in high school? I’m not comfortable with this even if her character is of age.
Terrible. Almost a complete waste of time. Too many flaws to count. Many characters not used to full potential. If you like natural romance, this is not the right show. I have sour aftertaste after this dull, incomplete ending. I wish my future self can travel back in time and warn me not to watch this show. terrible.
for those who have questions or comments about the romance between Lee Gon and Tae-eul, there is a discussion…
Just read your entire post. It's strange. Your story and your description of their romance is better in your writing than it is in the drama. Maybe they should had recruited you as a supporting writer and director for filming the love scenes only. I did not get the same essence from the show. It feels like a different drama when I’m reading your post. The show would had done wonders if they hired you.
I don't see why people are complaining tbh.The over dramatic trailer and the fact that LMH is starring made it…
More than it being a Lee Min Ho drama, it’s a writer KES drama and she’s known for writing dramas that connect to many people in a pleasing manner. It’s rare for her to have a drama that is dividing many people into different camps.
That’s great! Haha There’s better shows out there that is more worthy of your time.
Haha Thank you!
Although the series won’t end until Monday, I recommend Tales of Nokdu if you like historical dramas. It’s been pretty consistent in quality surprisingly, at least for me.
The main couple ends together In another comic but everything that they went through, they will most likely have to face again because none of the characters are able to break free from the grasps of the comic writer. He/she ultimately plays god. Also other characters you root for doesn’t have a happy ending. They end up alone.
I think the real rating for this one is 8 or 8.5, but I give 9 only because of the first 10 episodes, beautiful…
I don’t like it when people inflate the ratings because then people like me expects so much from the drama when the rating is high. I was severely letdown.
The ending is still enjoyable for me. As life is like this, not all the time can be lucky and fortunate. If fate…
I don’t think anyone should be subjected to the kind of fate where you constantly suffer every cycle, every comic world you’re in. How can you be happy knowing you will suffer again and again and be separated from the one you love again and again?
To hear that, it really hurts. I was obsessed with this drama because I saw that there might be something really…
Seriously. It’s probably better if we all just make fan videos of the happy moments of the characters and couples we like and play make-believe our own endings and become the comic writer instead lmao
All my fears came true with the latest episode. It felt underwhelming, left many plot-holes, and our characters…
I completely understand. The so called happy ending is unstable and unpredictable for the main couple and all the characters. They will never be on worry-free safe grounds and will constantly have to be wary of the comic writer and his nefarious ways.
What I don’t like:
High school FL hitting on someone way older.
The fight scenes looked cooler in the teasers than the drama. It’s cheesy. Looks like a bad anime parody
ML dreadlock friend (can they get rid of his character?)
Drama looks low budget
Editing is so-so
Slapstick is meh
Lack of chemistry. They act more like brother/sister.
All the characters are all too cartoonish
This is from the director of fiery priest??? What happened?
That why I suggest 30-42 will be more mature and stable than 20-32.
20 —32

I agree the comic writer is basically god in the show :/
The comic writer is a cruel deity.
