I'd add Gonzo to the list, though in it he's almost pretty much the same character as in JIN. He seems specializing on characters with "raw" emotion and appearances. Nice performance nonetheless

Pleasant little drama is this show. I think this is the best SP in 2013. Shame the subtitle releases had been slightly delayed so that it can't be voted in MDL JDrama awards

Yup, that's too bad. Never again we see such immaculate and super well-fleshed reviews like she did. She is one of those rare intelligent and witty JE fangirls out there. Not to disdain what Akiramike has done, he is also fantastic reviewer and through him I find some hidden gems few mentioned, but he never reaches the height that LDG had set. Moreover IMHO Akiramike always disdain emotional impact of the shows in his writings and is far too technical.

Me too, I follow Akiramike's blog religiously. At least I agree with 90% of his opinion. Prior to following his blog, I tuned in Little Dorama Girl's blog, personally I think she fleshed out dramas' aspects better than Akiramike does, too bad she's no longer doing the thoughts now :(

This drama is indeed a slow burner, the pace only picks up on the last episodes when the facts are revealed

So were mine :(, I think critical roundup and analysis serve better than votes. Votes only raise biases and give impressions that we are single-minded airheads who do not give a damn about how really good a drama or one's acting is. I even prefer some debates on quality of some dramas with empirical explanations rather than what we see now. Call me crazy, but this is what quickly comes up to my mind.

Anyway, I appreciate Joe for his effort, but it could be better IMHO

I think if the scoring point has a thing called "impact factor", this drama is the only one that deserves perfect score. If the maximum point is 10, then 1LOT is well into a dozen or even more

Agreed. He is at best when playing in toned-down dramas. I think his best works are in "Boku" trilogy
