Avenuex is so so hit or miss. She randomly likes the worst shit but is overly critical of decent dramas. Every once in a blue moon she's spot on, but I really have to take her opinions with a grain of salt.

If you're able to use mdl you're more than likely able to use other american (or other international) websites. There are very few actual chinese users here, there's plenty of options for international viewers. It's a false alarm to worry when there are other celebs who have done heinous shit too but their work is still out there and easy to watch. Hell, even if you're chinese there are tons of options for streaming with vpns
