XYL feels wooden in everything ngl. Chinese dramas have no shortage of male actors who should have just stuck to modeling. The girls are almost always way better actors but get torn apart by female audiences while the guys get praised for the bare minimum.

A lot of the 80s flowers kept doing idol dramas and it bit them in the ass because now that they're all approaching 40 they're not able to keep doing these roles and it's hard to break into more serious work. I think all of the early 90s flowers would be smart to start doing this earlier in their careers.
