then don't watch it? critic is fine, but ypu shouldn't do it beforehand to a drama where the cast already gets…
I don't think my opinion is the only one that counts? I didn't go on to other people's comments who were excited for this and tell them not to be. You guys came here, not the other way around.

Title A Journey to Love Spoiler
she doesn't necessarily forgive them right away. she was always a compassionate person so she came back for ml…
I watched and she forgave them extremely quickly. I know why she came back, I mentioned her still caring about the ML and the princess. But this made watching very jarring. We're all of a sudden back to the boys being silly like nothing ever happened when she literally almost died because of their actions. I'm not even saying they were wrong to do what they did, because I understand where they were coming from. BUT we needed far more time to resolve this conflict. They sped through this when it should have been given way more care.

Will Love In SpringWelcome to SamdarliLove Next Door2024 theme is taking the Childhood Connection trope and making…
This has been my biggest gripe forever. I don't mind a childhood connection trope at all as long as it is known and acknowledged and not some dumbass secret that magically makes the couple fall in love.

Really now, not even One Spring Night with Han Ji Min??? 🤨🤯
Yeah like the other poster said One Spring Night isn't really a noona cuz their characters are the same age and it's believable. I personally hate noona romances but it's a really good drama

srsly idk couldnt get past the first ep i was excepting so much because of the hype cheap editing cheap camera…
I thought the same thing. I've dropped other dramas like Kunning Palace and Fighting for Love because of how bad the editing and dubbing were. But I stuck with AJTL and it has either gotten better or I've gotten used to it and now I'm loving it 13 episodes in

Title A Journey to Love Spoiler
The whole, three members of the delegation almost killing Ruyi and her coming back almost immediately, really left a bad taste in my mouth. I'm hoping that deep down she really doesn't trust those three anymore. I don't care how silly or cute they act now, I'm so annoyed. I understand her still caring for the little princess and NYZ and Yuan Lu, but her coming back and barely holding onto this grudge is pissing me off.

I think there's also a difference between a good drama and a good remake. personally, I loved A time called you,…
Totally. And I understand people can watch the new one and enjoy it thoroughly especially if they haven't seen the original. I just have concerns. Contrary to popular belief, I would love it if this remake ended up being great. I love the story and I really like BHS. He has such a sweet demeanor in his acting, I think he'll be a great second lead.

I said that to moonchild because she and I have had multiple interactions where they're saying something wild. Like when they said that korean actors are better than chinese ones or their heinous opinion on Yoo Ah In. It wasn't blind hate. BUT even just telling someone they have a bad opinion isn't blind hate, it's literally just another opinion.

I don't know why you guys are so pressed about fans of the original having concerns for an adaptation? You can still be excited. Doesn't make any of my concerns less valid.

It's so funny to me when people just want everyone to shut up and not voice any criticism. Like, just because there are people who haven't seen the original versions means we who have can't compare them? Even if the new version is objectively worse? Fuck out of here. If they're going to remake a wildly popular drama they're going to get people pissed if they don't do it properly. The korean Fated to Love You and the thai Full House and Kiss Me were good adaptations. They exist. However, just because YOU liked A Time Called You, and just because they tried a different approach to the characters or story, doesn't mean that it wasn't an objectively worse version of the original. And it doesn't mean people aren't allowed to compare them.

I know most of you are koreaboos and can't stand the fact that Korea tends to suck at adapting other country's works. But that doesn't mean we're not allowed to criticize that fact.

NO ROMANCE, respectfully.
Noooo I feel like it would ruin the special relationship that they had. Like, it would cheapen it.

Mm nope sorry I'm still going to voice my concerns. I'm not sending blind hate. I had a reason behind everything I said. Nothing I said is stopping you from being excited for it or watching it when it airs.

The ML can't act for shit but yes it's the FL who is bad /s. I stg all men have to be is hot and women on this…
The male lead is an objectively bad actor. Like your criticism of the fl doesn't even make sense when you find nothing wrong with the ml who was infinitely worse than her

well, I think A Time Called You was great
Or it's bad because it was like every other generic romance kdrama and ditched all of the nostalgic charm of the original. I enjoyed the korean remake of Fated to Love You, but that's literally the only good korean remake I've seen. I've enjoyed many Thai remakes of dramas though. I have more than one reason for why I'm apprehensive for this Go Ahead adaptation which I talked about in my original comment, but you guys can keep living in lalaland and pretend like anyone who disagrees with you has a black and white mentality.

Because Korea has a bad track record when remaking Cdramas. People are right to be apprehensive
Yeah Someday or One Day (taiwanese not chinese) and A Love So Beautiful were both remade into kdramas and while they weren't absolutely terrible, the korean remakes lost everything that was charming about the originals and they were so bland
