Sure, you're entitled to that. She still is only ahead because of her connections. She's done about as many projects as her contemporaries with most of them being bad. She's only had a couple of roles with merit and those were supporting roles. The projects where she's the lead are, for the most part, extremely forgettable. But let's forget about all of that. She still is not a good actress, mediocre at best. And her looks lag behind the other actresses of her generation as well. Yeah, my comment is totally negative. And I stand by it. But it's annoying seeing an actress who really doesn't deserve the fame and acclaim she has when there are other really great actresses out there without her backing who aren't able to get ahead in the industry.

The kiss when the dude was essentially assaulting the princess was infinitely spicier than any kiss between the leads. What gives? It is 2024, I so thought we were past such lame kisses. I'd rather no kisses at all than such bland, chemistry deficient, emotionless ones. Honestly the chemistry overall between the leads is lacking in this drama and is the least compelling aspect of the story. But I'm persisting because I like the dynamics between the whole delegation (princess, the four boys, ML, and FL).

I've despised Tang Yan's acting in every project I've seen of hers but people raved about her in Blossoms Shanghai so here's to hoping she's had some kind of resurgence and is finally putting effort into her craft
