looking forward to this one. cheng yi always delivers and li yitong is still way way too underrated with how talented…
She is brilliant and has been since her debut. It makes me so sad she's not more popular. Royal Nirvana is probably my favorite work I've seen of hers, she performs with such intention in her acting. I hope this drama really boosts her popularity
I love to see LYN with LYT here. She puts her all into her projects and doesn't half ass with chemistry and intimacy. LYN is really going to have a chance to excel with LYT in that department.
That's what I was thinking. She just got cleared of any crimes so it was unlikely that it would air right away…
Theoretically she should be fine as she was cleared of any tax related crimes. As someone said in a different comment though, I agree that someone has it out for SZE so if they were smart they'd release her dramas sooner rather than later. I also understand though that they put a lot of money into this drama and want to get the most out of it that they can.
Dumbass whataboutism helps nothing. It is the south korean government that is at fault here in this instance.…
Genuine question here - is english not your first language? Because if it's not your first language then there may be a language barrier here. The questions I asked were rhetorical and make sense in context and aided the point I was trying to make.
To everyone blaming Korea, can you name even a single just and humane state? If you think Korea sucks then it's…
Dumbass whataboutism helps nothing. It is the south korean government that is at fault here in this instance. Why the fuck would we throw our arms up and say "oh well the whole world sucks what can you do?" No, Korea is fucked up here. YAI and people like him suffer because of the way they are doing things. Do you think that America is the only place with issues of police brutality? Or that England is the only place with issues of transphobia? Does that mean we should ignore them and say that the whole world sucks so we shouldn't blame them? People really need to think before they say such ignorant shit.
the rumors are fake of course it will not air right away but its testing the waters if this is still hot and many…
That's what I was thinking. She just got cleared of any crimes so it was unlikely that it would air right away (though I really wish it would, there's no good historicals rn). They were probably just trying to get a general feel of the audience's reaction to the news and if it was positive they'd probably then continue with an actual plan with promotion ahead of time before airing. And if it was negative they'd probably shelve it for an indefinite amount of time until the controversy has time to cool off.
The proper period up-do hairstyles really suit Ren Min's face. She's such a talented actress, I'm glad to see styling that is flattering. People really tore her apart in The Longest Promise when that wasn't even her fault.
This site is so stupid about age gaps. Apparently the couple has to have a five year gap to apply that tag. I tried to remove the tag on the drama Hard to Find (because the leads in that drama are only four years apart), but the staff still rejected my edit.
WELL SAID. A lot of people feel bad for XL, but he chose that path himself.
Exactly. I'm a big XL fan but this ending felt right. The characters stayed true to who they were from beginning to end and I so love this series for that.
Whatever you like or not its on you...but both in china and here, two leads are not popular..
No Wang Churan is still very much the beauty standard in China. Liu Yifei was the great beauty of the millennial gen and Wang Churan will be that for Gen Z(though WCR will probably never be as iconic as LYF, unless she gets a massive role that makes her a household name). The vast majority of Chinese viewers prefer a look like theirs over the cute actresses.
