You've apparently never seen a korean movie. They're not trying to be white you racist asshole. Their films have always had content like this. Dramas are only family friendly because of strict television regulations. You trying to dictate what's "Asian" or not is ridiculous. Are their movies that they've been making for decades all of a sudden not "asian?"

It's so funny to see people trying to say that this is korea "trying to be american" just because there are explicit scenes and violence. Have you guys never seen a korean movie?? The only reason their dramas are so tame is because they have strict regulations for television. When it comes to their movies, they are just as explicit and violent as any american one you've seen. This is all so stupid and shows how little people actually know about the korean entertainment industry outside of the sweet little romcom bubble they've kept themselves in.

She is brilliant and has been since her debut. It makes me so sad she's not more popular. Royal Nirvana is probably my favorite work I've seen of hers, she performs with such intention in her acting. I hope this drama really boosts her popularity

I love to see LYN with LYT here. She puts her all into her projects and doesn't half ass with chemistry and intimacy. LYN is really going to have a chance to excel with LYT in that department.

Theoretically she should be fine as she was cleared of any tax related crimes. As someone said in a different comment though, I agree that someone has it out for SZE so if they were smart they'd release her dramas sooner rather than later. I also understand though that they put a lot of money into this drama and want to get the most out of it that they can.

Why the fuck would we throw our arms up and say "oh well the whole world sucks what can you do?" No, Korea is fucked up here. YAI and people like him suffer because of the way they are doing things. That's what I was thinking. She just got cleared of any crimes so it was unlikely that it would air right away (though I really wish it would, there's no good historicals rn). They were probably just trying to get a general feel of the audience's reaction to the news and if it was positive they'd probably then continue with an actual plan with promotion ahead of time before airing. And if it was negative they'd probably shelve it for an indefinite amount of time until the controversy has time to cool off.
