Ma Sichun gained weight for her role in Mr Fighting. She's a Chinese actress but that's pretty much unheard of there too.

I've been meaning to watch that one, it looks really good. A Love So Beautiful was one of the first dramas I ever watched so I keep giving HYT a chance cuz that drama is so nostalgic for me but he keeps letting me down 😭

Someone from Deng Wei's team was caught instigating stuff against Yang Zi cuz of something she said in an interview. Totally out of line and those involved should definitely be held accountable. My only issue is the people who are so vitriolic towards Deng Wei as an individual. Newer actors like him have next to no power and I would bet he had no involvement in the whole incident. Bums me out to see his career possibly ruined when it hasn't been proven that he's actually done anything himself. That's all I was trying to get at. I love Yang Zi, she's one of my favorite actors, I just think all of this has been blown out of proportion by stans on all sides.

Defending her is totally fine. It's the people who are spewing hatred at him as an individual that is the issue. Anyways, it's probably pointless trying to reason with deranged fans but oh well. Have fun, kiddos.

I am getting the point. You're mindlessly attacking an individual who more than likely has nothing to do with the situation at all nor does he have the responsibility to do so. His team is not him. I've seen the post. He's an actor, not a parent or a politician. If you're a child (under 18) I sincerely apologize cuz I know when you're young you get worked up over silly things but if you're older than that you seriously need a job or a different hobby. Just watch the show and debate over plot points and who your favorite boy is, this other shit isn't healthy lmao

But he didn't actually do or say anything. A bit immature to blame an actor with very little power in the situation. It's always crazy to me how people blame fandom behavior on the celebrity. It makes no sense. Being an actor doesn't mean they have the responsibility to control other humans. People did the same thing to Cheng Yi after Love and Redemption and to Xiao Zhan after Oath of Love. Like, everyone in these situations need to get a grip and touch grass.

I think everyone needs to calm down. He is a newer actor so most likely he doesn't have control over what his team or his fans do. No need to attack him as none of really know anything about him as a person.

It's bad because it's just so mediocre. Like it had so much potential and then fell flat in nearly every lifetime, including the most important overarching one. Just so so so underwhelming in pretty much every way, And yes, YCY's acting was not good, but honestly bad acting and idol dramas are an iconic pairing. The only problem is it's usually the ML who is the shitty actor and the female audience forgives them cuz they're hot *cough* Wang Hedi *cough* Hu Yitian *cough*

Anyways, not the worst xianxia by a longshot, but seriously a letdown considering how fun the premise is. Very bland drama

Beginning episodes were very fun. The FL was great, but the writing got worse really fast and there were so many dumb/cliche/cringe moments. I had a lot of fun in the beginning so I gave it a decent/good score of 6.5 but yeah I will never rewatch. I had kind of high expectations for this and it was so mid.

Yes, but it was the only ending that would have worked with this show. Giving it a happy ending would have felt cheap and forced

Ok cool thanks. I do criticize the FL's acting in some of her shows but she's not so terrible that people should hate on her like they do and rate her shows 1 star, that's ridiculous. I'm always willing to give things a shot, thanks for all of the info
