yeah it could become a mess going by the synopsis. I'm getting Uncanny Counter vibe dunno why. That one started great but quickly went off rails due to some no-one-cares political side plot that was elevated to the main plot.
Unlike Hollywood (Oppaland), Kimchiwood is Noonaland. I'm not complaining ha ha. That said, while I like Rowoon in general, I didn't care for his dramas (Extraordinary, Sunbae) and they had miserable ratings too. This one's synopsis sounds like a parody of a suicide prevention ad.
He's bi and feeding/blood drinking has always been a metaphor for sex. Great character and great performance.
Ha ha I know. I noticed that Rakuten Viki-made dramas are more open to LGBT content than mainstream dramas (not a high bar lol but still). You can find them under monikers BL (Boylove) GL (Girllove), etc or just get that kind of references among non-leads (2ML, 2FL, etc).
many idols are actor and he's done a great job on Sweet Blood which cannot be said for the rest of the cast. ML…
Tell that to CEW, Rowoon, Siwan, etc. They are headlining dramas non-stop. I have no idea why you think that idol-actors don't work a lot cause they definitely do.
the new guy when he came in is so fucking hot. but sad that hes an idol not and actor
many idols are actor and he's done a great job on Sweet Blood which cannot be said for the rest of the cast. ML is playing a clueless character but that shouldn't mean clueless about acting. "Idol" acts circles around everyone.
I'm looking forward to his new drama. He looks really handsome in the vampire look for "the sweet blood" i have…
he's the only good actor on that s***show and his presence is absolutely mesmerizing. I'm just fast-forwarding to his scenes cause I couldn't care less about anyone else. His character is interesting, seducing both men and women, carrying a torch for (dull) FL, bad boy. The actor does a great job with all that.
I'm watching this but tbh I'm not sure they have enough material to fill 12 episodes. I fear that, to do so, they will inevitably expand the roles of haraboji's family, add (unnecessary) romance between ballerino and haraboji's granddaughter, and dwell into whatever happened between ballerino's dad and the blond bully. Not interested in any of that cause real drama is really the upcoming competition and whether haraboji will somehow appear on the stage.
Grandpa acts circles around everyone, it isn't even up for debate. Song Kang is pretty much just the show's visual but no match.
